I won't say I care about DNF enough to actually go some place to play it, but it struck me that, being in Brazil, I'm pretty much on the other side of the world for both of those events. Tough luck.
I'm also sure Gearbox/3D Realms is aware of this:AnimeDormCritic said:I think that's why...they wanna see if they can make him give the real game a good review...doubt it but stull ya never know. The Gentleman said:They do know about this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/748-Duke-Nukem-Forever], right? Or are they doing this solely to make awkward conversations with the manager?
It's nice to see that Randy Pitchford and Gearbox has a sense of humor. George Broussard and 3D Realms was known to get hostile, nasty, and threatening when people cracked jokes about their long development time.Yahtzee Croshaw said:As many of my correspondents have been quick to remind me with insufferable glee, the big story of this year's PAX was the announcement that Duke Nukem Forever is alive and kicking, penciled in for release in 2011 and being completed, courtesy of none other than Gearbox Software. Most will know them as the developers of Borderlands, although they started out as the developers of official expansion packs for Half-Life, such as Opposing Force and Blue Shift, and to me will always be "those guys who lived off Valve's run-offs."
