I don't know why but for some reason the trolls are out today! I have already read some pretty dumb stuff on the escapist, for example one guy asking if he could become a mod with 22 posts. Good thing he was banned since he's been trolling all day. So, what's the dumbest thing you've read online?

i'm gonna get flamed for this. but that really does piss me off a lot, especially 2.
I agree, mouse and keyboard aren't better when it comes to Third person shooters and racing games.

Usually poor thought out fanboy or hate threads. They just hurt my head whenever I try to read or understand it. Actually, wait, YouTube. Any comment on Youtube. I might say 4chan, but I've never been there so I've never actually read anything there, and I never will!

Any time I click on the comments tab on the Fox News website. I swear my brain all but melts and runs out my ears. It might be funny except for those folks just goshdarned mean every bigoted bullshit word they spew (and spew and spew...given that most posters seem to need to hit the "post" button 4-5 times).

I could just stop going there I know, but sometimes when my day really sucks it is good to click on a train wreck thread and watch fucking fuckwits froth themselves in to a frenzy.

It's a toss-up between YouTube comment threads, Cracked.com comment threads, and absolutely anything on Conservapedia. FSTDT is kind enough to collect many of them together.[

Probably a post from one of our users which detailed that gays are not entitled to their rights because "all homosexuals were into child pornography and rape". When asked to give conclusive evidence he only presented a story about how a guy he knew who was gay had some CP on his computer. That was it.

Later the same user made a post detailing how he thought FOX News was "too liberal".

Ive been quite disturbed in reading random news articles from yahoo news to see some of the comments posted on each article... its the most horrendous compilation of atrocity I have ever bore witness to. And I have written some serious textual abominations.

Youtube gets on my tits. Not just the comments the whole site annoys me and I just cannot use the site directly. 4chan isn't actually as bad as it's made out to be. The abuse they give people is quite often well deserved (even if it's illegal) and they quite regularly help out police in internet threats and such. They aren't exactly idiots, they just prefer not to have the sophisticated parle we Escapists do. Still, I'm not a big fan of the site.

OT: The comment on the youtube video 'Where the hell is Matt' about how the entire video was photoshopped

Hate threads. There's no point to them, and discussion value is, er, limited at best. In this way they're similar to fanboy threads, in that no matter what arguement/rationale you put forward it will be rejected out of hand by people who have already made up their minds on a given subject.

is it normal
work of the devil
large hadron collider (or any other well know science)
my son/daughter has (not both)
is it ok

example:
The Large Hadron Collider - Is it messing up our internet connections and causing more global warming?
