If more people preorder a game, EA gets a better idea about how many units to make and whether to start on DA 3. If you want people to preorder you provide them with an incentive. Seem like just smart business to me.
Exactly. This is not additional content, this is getting people to pay more for content, more than likely, stripped from the game itself. DLC as a trend is rather abysmal and a terribly rapist practice in the game industry these days. Please do not support these things as it will only make them worse.RobCoxxy said:If you're announcing DLC before the game's out, EA, you're just fucking us out of release content.
That is exactly what they're doing. They are rewarding those who pre-order the game early by giving them free DLC. However, some retailers have misunderstod and thinks that the signature edition is supposed to cost more than the regular edition because it has more content. It is the retailers that's ripping us of here, not EA.Stevepinto3 said:Couldn't they make it free with the pre-order then just sell it normally to other players after it launches?
