Now they just need to give away free pudding, and I may forgive them for the shitstorm that was CNC 3.
Even then, they still have to make up for making RA3 and canning Tiberium.
They could make up for Red Alert, but they'd have to release some proper shit. I don't think they've been capable of that since they said they'd stop making Need For Speed clones.

As for the prize, these girls are NOT escorts, hookers or any other name you can come up with for them. They are models that are probably payed just enough to be nice to a nerd for a few hours while he regales them with stories of how his Wizard defeated the mighty Mecha-Dragon of Algorag using nothing but Yu-Gi-Oh cards and a PS3 Controller. They are probably not payed enough to take his virginity.

Ok... that is really disturbing. For several reasons.

I mean, really. Encouraging people to play grab-ass (even though they're not, the wording makes it seem like they are) with the people you've hired is a BAD IDEA, no matter what angle you look at things from. Not to mention that if some moron goes and does this to someone who isn't a booth babe, a

[HEADING=1]MEDIA FIRESTORM OF HATE[/HEADING]

will descend upon E3 and all those attending it. Which leads to all sorts of unpleasant things.

Wow... Just... wow.

You know, I was reconsidering dropping my boycott of EA, but, this certainly is a reason to keep it up.

Cons already have a high incidence of sexual harassment and now EA wants to incite this behavior "officially?!" Comic Con event staff are not prepared to handle this sort of thing and there have been multiple reports of males at previous Cons, who went specifically to harass females "just to see their reactions."

Here is a story from one male about the things he's seen/heard at San Diego Comic Con:

http://bullyscomics.blogspot.com/2008/08/serious-note.html

The worst part of the whole Con seems to be the lack of information for reaching security or any kind of policy regarding harassment. Not even the artists and people working at the Con have this information. If I were a female cosplayer planning to attend Comic Con I'm sure I'd be really rethinking the idea after reading this.

I wonder what the workplace at EA is like? Hmmmmm, I'm thinking sexual harassment is just A-OK. I feel sorta bad for the booth babes however... I don't think they're very excited about this contest.

How would this change what I do to booth girls again?

O wait, it means they won't hit me with the pepper spray this time when I hump the legs.

Delta bravo, this is not a drill delta bravo.
I would like to apologize to all female gamers for this. and offer a challenge to anyone at EA for a cage match with no rules, as a way to pay in blood for their act of douchebaggery.

EA has lost it's gorram mind.

As a human being, and a female, I am deeply offended by this. Just. Wow.

And to think, I was considering a rental.

While I've always had a sort of grudging respect for EA, this has now made them my new hero.

All hail EA. All hail EA. All hail EA.

Seriously though, I wish I was at Comic-Con. Or E3. Or any of those places where I get to combine my love of video games and anime and my love of looking at attractive women dressed as characters from video games and anime.

Don't judge me.

Yeah... this'll end well. Somehow I'm sure some moron will go overboard with this and it'll end up giving people like me an even poorer image.

So am I the only one that thought this was clever?

It's sad we live in a country where this sort of humor can't fly because people will 'take it too far'. I'm not entirely sure that is the case I think its more the assumption that people will when really it would end up being one or two assholes out of a few hundred.

Would you have been offended if it was guys? If not I'm deeply offended by you.

You know aside from something happening to the booth babes, I think EA is actually improving. I mean they took away most of DRM, they milk franchises way less and they actually complete them too. Maybe... just maybe... one day... I will become a fan of EA!!! *Dun dun dun*

On the side note, even if i went to comic con, my gf wouldn't allow me to commit those "acts of lust" anyway :p

I can tell Fox are gonna be all over this and overblow the matter to crazy heights... I can see it now...

Welcome to Fox news. In a new story we have found out that EA games are now rewarding acts of adultery with games and young women. What is going to happen next with the media of gaming first they give us a detailed sex simulator in Mass Effect now they give us this what could be next

I couldn't resist referencing Mass Effect and that overblown story by FOX...*facepalm*

Here's hoping the booth babes at least get a substantial pay raise to make up for having to deal with this festering pile of bullshit. I mean, if they're going to be treated like call-girls the least EA can do is treat them like highly paid call-girls, yes?

Although personally, I prefer to hope that a significant portion of the booth babes opt to quit when they see this.
