I dont think so becuase from what I saw on wikipedia freeware list. they still alow you to download the first red alert and the first C&C.

Well after buying very game made by westwood, and not being able to play red alert or C&C for years, this comes as a nice surprise.

After Red Alert 3 took a giant dump because they dumbed it down for the console and made it look WORSE than C&C 3, I am glad this is a PC exclusive. Seriously, the training treats you like your an idiot. C&C 3 managed to train you very well, for both new and experienced players.
The game has a cartoony look to it, and the graphics are worse.

Why is it so many times games are changed for the worse when made for both console and PC? Are they all trying to be like Deus Ex 2?

no, but most rts's are exclusive to the pc, its sorta like saying an MMORPG is exclusive to the mouse and keyboard interface, or the new halo is an xbox exclusive, no problem with it but it seems unnecessary and redundant.

Well...yeah. I mean, Command and Conquer 3 + the expansion and Red Alert 3 were all released on consoles as well as PC.

Those of you doing the original C&C (Gold, presumably): there's an unofficial patch that you might want to get that fixes some bugs, and lets you run it in high resolution.

Firestorm is an expansion to the standalone game C&C: Tiberian Sun.
