Did he at least take it out to an open field and beat it up like the Office Space fax machine?

haha wonderful xD
Wish I could have seen such a sight XP.

If I had a recording of it i'd edit it and add the hammer song featured in brawl xD

What do you mean you don't see Yahtzee annihilate something with a hammer every day? Does he use a chainsaw sometimes?

That's pretty clever though. Kudo kudos to EA.

You should have recorded Yahtzee smashing the box, it would have been a "smashing" success!
EA is still not in my good books what with all their DRM crap but that is pretty funny. Although I'd say they just did it so that Yahtzee would review the game sooner, they may or may not have noticed that he will rip the game a new one if he doesn't like it, more so than usual!

It reminds me of the scenario in SAW, where they have to kill the other person and take the key out of their stomach. Except the key is the battery and the music and humility is whats killing him.

Yahtzee truly needs to respond to this not with a review, but with something more extreme yet true to his style. but also, brave EA, you have caught my attention indeed (well at least until your games start sucking ass again)

that's the wierdest thing I ever saw a game company do, at least since Nintendo gave 'Mario Oscars' to their favorite employees.

makes me wonder though, what if a different game company does something like this with Yahtzee?

as far as I knew, first Peter Molyneux expresses his over-optimistic nature to Yahtzee about Fable 2, next Infamous and Prototype engage that women's bra competition thing, now this.

seems like Yahtzee's the game critic that truly catches the Gaming Industry's attention, is he?

Haha, thats pretty funny. It won't inpsire me to buy the game at all, but still, that was a pretty funny stunt. Maybe it wasn't marketing though, maybe it was just their way of telling Yahtzee to go to hell :p

...That's one helluva way to garner media attention. Hopefully ol' Ben's gotten over that gag by now (though knowing him, he'll probably rant about it sometime soon [or send them a "fake" mail bomb back...hehehe], and we will all enjoy it), but that's just absolutely fucking brilliant XD

Wonder if they'll send him a complementary early copy in reprisal, so he can bash it before everyone else does.
