Seconded. Genius marketing by EA though.Sparrow said:Amazing. I would pay good money to see a video of it.
My question is, how many people died laughing while watching Yahtzee demolish that box, im guessing at least 6.Russ Pitts said:It was a tragedy all the way around, to be sure.Heart of Darkness said:Aw, dammit. The video would have been pure gold...Susan Arendt said:Sadly, no. Here's the thing - our video crew just happened to be out at Red Storm when Yahtzee opened the box and weren't due back for at least an hour. And the music wouldn't shut off, so...we had no choice.Heart of Darkness said:Do we have video footage of Yahtzee smashing that box with a hammer?
But this is funny. Not quite laugh out loud funny, but very amusing to say the least.
I'll just chalk it up to "wrong place, wrong time." Wrong place for the video crew to be, wrong time for Yahtzee to open the box.
Cheap? I don't think so. Sure, advertising is usually rather shameless, but this is EA, a soulless corporate behemoth, using rather funny humor. The fact that it was directed at Yahtzee just makes it perfect. You have to give them points for this, even if that means downloading the demo or something.tharwen said:NO! You're succumbing to their cheap marketing ploys! That's bad! BAD!Knight Templar said:Now that is clever.
All this Dante's Inferno advertisment is working, I wasn't even going to try the game out before, but I am now.
God i cant wait to watch that one *biggest grin ever*blackshark121 said:I smell a special ZP episode about this.
Damn! That's something that would have been golden to watch.Susan Arendt said:Sadly, no.
