Oh wow, this was brilliant. No better person to pick out for 'wrath' than Yahtzee. Even if the game is just a semi-good God of War clone, the marketing campaign is ingenious(except for the lust thing, that was a catastrophe).

Gave me a wonderful laugh to imagine the confused faces of everyone with the discovery of the hammer and goggles....and then the music begins. EA has to be given mega props for this, an absolutely awesome way to tell someone to go to hell and rick roll them all at the same time.

Until EA fixes everything they're doing wrong with C&C 4 they can do nothing to earn my respect. I don't care which branch of the company is responsible for whatever crap, EA is still EA and they're making a huge mistake turning C&C 4 into WarCrap III.

Ok, so the note is a bit heavy-handed, but I'm still giving this round of Dante's Inferno publicity a thumbs up for overall creativity and cleverness. Besides, it's not every day you get to see Yahtzee smash something to bits with a hammer.

Just be thankful it wasn't Square, Susan. We all know what Yahtzee's like around JRPGs, after all...

Seriously though, I can't believe EA had the balls to Rickroll Ben through the mail like that. I'm not sure whether to take his side, for the obvious reasons, or EA's, because they were pretty damn creative there (now why can't they use that same creativity and originality in their actual games?).
