EA does have a valid point though about patches and updates and such, from various things I have read, it would be nice if STEAM did make it a bit easier for companies to work on their games, at least for patches. There has been a few annoying moments where a company has had a patch up, but I had to wait to get it for the steam version.

Apparently because Valve was getting to large a share of DLC revenue over steam.

Like apparently EA WAS NOT GETTING 100% of the money! IT WAS SO CRUEL!

And the amount Valve asked for made sense. EA was using THEIR service so they had to pay to use it. EA made their own and it sucks a big, fat, donkey cock (as I predicted) because EA does not but in the same time and effort for their service.

The thing that makes EA so fun is they are being comic villains because its like they don't understand economics. They would earn way more if they just focused on being nice and helpful toward the consumer but by doing there anti consumer stance they make them self out to be jackasses, and as such receive less purchases.

Which is weird because they seemed like they were making an effort to clean up their act awhile back.The free map pacls for Bad Company 2. The free stone prisoner dlc for Dragon Age Origins. The free Cerberus Network stuff for Mass Effect 2. Picking up TIm Schafer's Brutal Legend game after Activision baled on him and tried to sue to stop it's release. Its seems like they just gave up.

People thought there was a feud? They're running competing services so that on its own is reason for EA to want to keep its own products exclusive, I really doubt there's more to it than that.

EA has several things going on currently. They want to move into mobile, free to play, modify Steam's terms, limit EA games to Origin, always on DRM, must connect to internet and on and on and on.

Also, the company is up for sale @ $20 a share. Right hand, left hand have either of you met brain yet? Cause ruling the world is not happening.

Don't forget they could market Minecraft better then Notch. Just cause they are the guys that brought the Dead Space 2 ads about Moms hating games.

Class act from a class company. Too bad it is all low class.

Enemy or not though a rival company making a rival service and claiming that the other cheapens intellectual property hardly seems like friendly interaction.
