I was about to write something like "What? Who the fuck would spend that much money on a video game?"

But then I asked myself, if I had the money, and if Skyrim had not been leaked, how much would I pay for an xbox copy a few days prior to release?

1700 bucks sounds about right!

Skyrim isn't the same thing, thats an entirely single player game. Call of duty is a heavy, heavy multiplayer title, and sucks ass when judged solely on its single player content.

So that game is damn near useless until he can actually play it online.


Edit: Im sure MW3 is a great game..but damn though, 2 grand? Seriously? Surely someone who is THAT rich has better hobbies than getting farmed for Xp on a new call of duty game.

I was me that bought it because I think CoD is awesome.

And to all you nay-sayers. My budget was $2000 so in fact I saved nearly $300, and also as I usually order from amazon which means that games take a week or more to be delivered. So in fact I'm getting it over a week earlier than most people. It's win win.
