I doubt hes smart enough if he paid that much money for it, Call of Duty fans are just so dumb. They paid 60$ for the PC Version, its not surprising this happened.

I respect the man that sold this game, and pity the fool that bought it.
You just made my day with that remark, as I completly agree.
If this is legit, somebody just spent enough money to buy 28 copies of this turd so he can brag about having it first. With the 360 he can't even play it without risking to turning his console into a very very useless BRICK.

I was me that bought it because I think CoD is awesome.

And to all you nay-sayers. My budget was $2000 so in fact I saved nearly $300 (snip). It's win win.
Thats what happens when children have too much money. Thats 1700 $ you just wasted on a videogame. You could have bought one MW-whatever title each year for 28 years with that. Dude, GROW UP.
If you don'T take serious advice then may I refer you to my wonderfull selection of wireless extension cords and wifi cables - only 20$ for any item, truly instant delivery after every transaction...

That's about all the response I have for this. Are we this stupid? I don't even have the energy to post the "I no longer want to live on this planet" video in response.

Edit: What are the odds this was some teenager or kid who got ahold of some parental credit card info?
About 70%, I'd say. 30% chance it's some dumbass just doing it for the bragging rights or being that much of a stereotypical nerd. Probably some kid though. It's amazing how willful and idiotic people (especially kids) are when it's not their money being burned.

SUNOFABITCH! I need money, if I had known that people were willing to shell this kind of cash for a copy of MW3 I would have found those copies and sold a whole shitload on eBay.

Yes, I am for the exploitation of the willfully stupid, why do you ask?
A person refusing to exploit human stupidity is like a fish refusing to drink water xD

Willful stupidity, I don't believe in exploiting those that can, and more importantly, are willing to learn. People that are wrong and refuse to learn otherwise are fair game though.

99% chance that the guy who bought this was part of the 1%

I know I'd be willing to pay $1.70 to get certain games before release, and given that there are people out there that have literally over 1000 times the money I do, I can't be to surprised somebody would pay that much for it.

People are doing things I don't agree with! Surely this is unacceptable!

I must rage and froth!
Buying a game a few days early for $1700? That's not something "we don't agree with", it's just plain dumb.

I always said they could easily sell the game at double the price one week early, but I never thought people are this stupid :D

The whole thing just gave Activision a whole new business plan

Actually will they get banned? I remember about 250+ people got MW2 a week or so early legitimately and they were allowed to play it, but the servers were reset when it was launched. And why would you pay that much to get a game 2 or 3 days early?!?!?!?!?!

I think we can all agree that there are people out there with a lot of money and no limits on spending it, no matter how ludicrous a trade looks.
But $1700? Really? It's just way too much, no matter what game it is.

Everything I could say to this has already been said. There are no words to describe this... thing. Okay, it's umm, stupid. Stupid is what it is, I'm going back to basics. Stupid is a fine description. STUPID!
