I like to believe that the easter bunny was made up by a stoner to explain why he couldn't give his friends any chocolate.

"Dude where did you get that chocolate?"

"Er a bunny gave it to me"

Off topic but if Jesus took drugs, what drugs would he take?
opiates.

They're not particularly mind opening drugs.

Yeah, whatever.

Proving insanity is still alive and well on The Escapist.
Actually, I was attempting to make a point of obscure conversation by creating a hypothetic situation, and as Easter was drawing near, I created a certain situation that I thought was pertinent to the time. As I was asking for other people's opinions, I thought it best to share my opinion first, as I was trying to adhere to proper etiquette, and I was also putting a humorous perspective on the topic and explaining it in a detailed and lengthy manner. Although I don't think much of the idea and image of the Easter Bunny, I would still enjoy reading others opinions, but I can see how that could be misconstrued as insanity.
*refusing to speak in case she gets verbally assaulted again*
I apologize if my reply came off as a verbal assault, it was not intended as such. I was only attempting to explain my line of thinking in a courteous and civil manner without being brutish or snarky, and I apologize profusely if this was misunderstood as a verbal assault.
No, it's okay. You were just saying what you thought, and you were being polite about it. Maybe verbal assault was the wrong phrase...

Why do you think Jesus would be against mind opening drugs?

I don't.

I'm just saying, that in Jesus's time and location, the only drugs that would be readily available would be alcohol and opiates.. so if Jesus took drugs, they'd be opiates :p

Saint Peter (the first Pope) was a rabbit. Peter Rabbit. The Pope's hat only makes sense when you realise it was intended to be worn by a creature with big pointy ears. The Easter Bunny is the descendant of of Peter, and hence is the true Pope.

Gotta love Southpark.

I don't doubt that opiates were in widespread use, and still are, in that part of the world, but would there really have been no marijuana? Magic mushrooms too, in north and east Africa.

See that's what happens when you don't read the entire thread. And let that be a lesson to you.
