So who is your favorite mod here at the Escapist and why?
None. Because I have never had to deal with any of them before. On that note, and following the title of Epic MOD Wrath, check below if you would, please, for an example of the stupidest MOD move I've ever seen here.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.264244-why-were-you-put-on-probation-suspended-or-warned?page=1

(I've double-checked almost half the users who have posted in the thread above for the last hour, and while none are truly suspended/on probation, I still find this stupid to allow. To be very frank, I don't find this funny in the slightest, even as a MOD joke. Here's a thought on this, though: Instead of making a joke like this, which someone can very easily misinterpret or attempt to confirm as MOD abuse, just close and lock the thread.)

Also in keeping with the title what is the best thing you have ever seen a mod do on a board that isn't the Escapist? (we aren't allowed to discuss punishment the mods give us on this forum)
My friend's long running Nagima RPG, which he himself was running as a mod, is the only thing I can think of that I can draw from. He wrote a full five page Word post to completely and utterly kill off one major troll in his RP. The damn thing was epic.

Also I feel I have to say DAMN YOU CAPTCHAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Doesn't bother me. Keep them. Makes people stop and think for a few seconds longer before they post.

I've never had a chance to speak with any of the mods, but I do know of a few mods such as Kuliani, but yeah I ain't one to judge a person until I've met them and spoke to them. :)

Personally, I'll say BabyTea, probably because I've actually met him. The other mods are pretty cool, though, from what I've seen.

I guess my favorite so far is the probation I got for posting in this thread? Can someone explain it to me?

Aylaine. She's so nice!

Most of the Red Guard are cool, but I haven't seen much of a lot of them.

Definitely Aylaine. Why? She's just so kind and happy all the time. It makes me jealous and envious, but I simply can't say anything negative.

Definitely New Classic. Mainly because he's friendly, smart and funny, but strict when he needs to be. And because he made a short story based in a fallout universe when locking a failed attempt at a Fallout RP.

I guess they thought you were insulting them.

It's only for one day, not a big deal.

I think New Classic is a pretty cool guy. eh is seriously the best fucking writer I have ever talked to and doesn't afraid of typing out threads to explain how moderation works.

Also Kross because that shit he did was hilarious.

I don't really know many of the mods but Kross wallpapered an entire thread to make it look like everyone was suspended. it was awesome

I don't really know who the mods are. Haven't felt the need to pay attention.

I'll just go with Ultrajoe, since, as a mod, he was supremely and unequivocally ULTRA.
Seconded.
He was cool as a mod, and even better as a wacky poster. Every once in a while he would make epically long posts containing the most hilarious stories I've ever seen. Seriously, these things had me in stitches.

This many people actually get to know the mods? I'm not going to ignore some user if I strike up a conversation with him and find out he's a mod, but I'm not keeping track of which mod does what or watching when some mod replies to a thread.
Well the entire Red Guard is comprised of volunteer users. They were once part of the community and very popular. The Staff members are easy to spot and when you see them do something funny, you don't forget xD

A toss up between Ayaline and Susan Arendt.

Ayaline is really nice and fair!

However, Susan was involved in my favorite Escapist memory. Specifically, I got into a scrap with a troll who basically called me a flaming gay for wanting to play Dance Central. He compared it to dancing in a dress in front of a mirror while yelling "I'm a fairy princess!" I tried to say that it just looked fun and didn't pander one way or the other, but he wasn't having any of it.

Then Susan popped by and questioned his sexual security and orientation.

He never did respond after that, and Susan Arednt's "Epic Mod Score" has been permanently boosted.

(Yeah, I know that was from the Escapist, but it was AWESOME, drat it!)

I'm wishing there was a "like" or "thumbs up" button right about now.

OT: I don't really have a favorite, need to start posting more often I guess.

Edit: After seeing that entire thread of Kross suspending people... I think I'm going to start leaning towards him as my favorite.

The posts I've seen from Coldstorage have been pretty reasonable.

I've noticed that whenever I tell a mod I disagree with them I suspiciously get probated.
