Again, "the list covers written materials used anywhere in the games" - with that kind of regulation, consensual BDSM is out the door, and romantic visual novels with a few sex scenes in them can no longer have dialogue involving "let's have a baby when we get older". That'd include Clannad, for Christ's sake, where the getting married to the girl, having a baby with her, and living with the child, are major, emotional aspects of the story. That's ridiculous.

I mean, sure, rape games are fairly creepy, but this is much, much worse.

After having gone and played the game, my opinion lies firmly in the realm of "fuck off and find something else to complain about", prudes.

Seriously, if you don't like the idea of a rape game, don't fucking play it? It's not like it's sitting on your local Gamestop shelf just waiting for a chance to assault the moral integrity of children.

Anyways, all "ethical" considerations aside (ethical, lol, as if the mass murder we've all been enjoying in video games for years is perfectly fine in comparison), it is a very, very poorly made game.

Bad story, bad graphics, dull gameplay, etc, and the version with English subtitles is horribly translated.

you know I am actually a mixed bag when it comes to japan, on the one hand i'm a HUGE mecha fan, I love anime and manga and some of the light novels too, and of course Video Games.

Ok you've got a point, but it still churns my stomach that there's not only people who make these games, but that there's apparently an audience for it. I'm all for cultural diversity, but when it means harming others I have to draw the line. I mean if one's culture called for human sacrifices we sure as hell wouldn't be protecting that.
