Awesome. Really. I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter.

So, fill us in on the shaving incident - or do we need to dig back through the archives?

Edit: Also, the Escape Radio theme should be in Guitar Hero II - it's great!

Dude. You program my newsletter!

Anyway, I think you'll have to go into the archives for that intel, chief. I honestly can't remember now. I think it had something to do with Xbox360 shortages ... and ... my gonads (and strife).

It's great to have Certis and Fletcher back on the internet radio circuit. Not to mention, starting off with a John Romero reference makes me feel right at home.

Very cool, congratulations on #1.

Any chance we could get a podcast RSS feed, too, so it can fed to iTunes and/or podcasts.yahoo.com?

PS: Looking forward to the (now inevitable) TV show... ;)

Great show guys, feels just like old times.

Have to admit that I felt a shiver run down my spine when podunk stomp started playing. I love that tune.

Oh and Russ, as far as I am concerned (as well as most of the GWJ guys I'm sure), you still have a bet running that may or may not end in brazilian. I'll be most upset if Shawn doesn't hold you to it!

Additionally, based on your recommendation in the podcast, I downloaded and tried the Armadillo Run [http://www.armadillorun.com/] demo - wow, this is awesome. Next time I'm looking for a game to play, this'll be at the top of my purchase list. It's like a combination of The Incredible Machine [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Incredible_Machine] and BridgeIt [http://www.auran.com/jet/bridgeit/].

She means the feeds, not the TV show. That might take longer ;)

We're working on getting the itunes link up - but here is the RSS for the Podcast if you want to just manually subscribe.

RSS Link: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/media/issues/rss/rss_radio.xml

To do so (through iTunes):
Go to Advanced
Choose "Subscribe to podcast..."
Enter: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/media/issues/rss/rss_radio.xml as the URL.
Click Ok.

From there it should auto-download for you. :)

I'll hopefully have buttons up on the site soon.

What.... did you think.... I would do... at this mooooment?

Welcome back fellas. It's good to hear your voices again. Uhm, in a recorded form, that is. Not that it isn't good to hear your voices over Live when playing games. Wait, I know, it's good to hear your voices _together_ again. Yeah, that's the ticket!

This is just as good as I remember it. And I remember it fairly well since I kept listening to those twenty-some episodes and pretended they're about current events. Heh, built-in 'toe.

Hey guys, Apple (finally) sent us over the iTunes subscription link for Escape Radio [http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=173303203&s=143441]. So now you iPod owners can dowload the show into your happy, little white boxes. All ten bazillion of you.

We'll have a button up on the Radio page [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/radio/] for iTunes on Monday. Cheers.

Great job guys. You don't know how happy it made me to hear your voices again. I loved the Gamers With Jobs Radio podcast, listened to every episode and was really bummed when it had to end.

One recommendation: can we get links to the games you mention in the show? I had a heck of a time remembering the name and then finding the Armadillo Run game.

Keep up the great work guys, both in the magazine (which I love) and the podcast!

Here's the link to the game I recommended in the show, Armadillo Run [http://www.armadillorun.com/]. It's a hoot, and the demo gives you a pretty good idea of how the full game plays out.

The whole office is getting hooked on it now. Jon, our Producer, is the latest victim.

Gentlemen, truly a pleasure. And did I hear this was to be a bi-weekly show? I may never listen to AM radio again.
Unfortunately bi-weekly means one show every two weeks. So you'll be stuck with your wireless for a bit longer.

While this is somewhat disappointing, especially considering GWJ Radio was generally out every week, I'm sure it had something to do with the bargaining Russ (Fletcher) had to do with his boss to get the show back at all.
