Is THAT what that was? I thought it was a new powered-armor dude advertising Iron Man 4. From that perspective, it's pretty neat, but Robocop? yeah, no.Imp Emissary said:Also; Yes, the new Robocop looks very very bad. Why are they trying so hard to make him look like Batman?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was happy to see StarbuckSupahGamuh said:YAY, Starbuck is in this!![]()
People really really REALLY need to quit parroting this particular inanity. Lack of massive popularity does not equal nobody caring. I thoroughly enjoyed the previous two movies, especially Chronicles, and if it's true that there's a fourth movie planned in the same vein (with this one intentionally following Pitch Black) then I'm psyched for it.RJ Dalton said:Honestly, Vin Diesel needs to move on. Nobody cares about Riddick but Vin Diesel at this point.
You're absolutely correct and I thank you for alerting me to my mistake. Please allow me to rephrase that.JarinArenos said:People really really REALLY need to quit parroting this particular inanity. It's almost like Bob has forgotten that it's a Transformers movie being directed by Michael Bay.MorganL4 said:WAIT???? Bob is giving Transformers 4 a MAYBE????
REALLY?
I would have excepted "Double NO" but a MAYBE?
Really Bob? Really?
Oh now that's just mean.RJ Dalton said:You're absolutely correct and I thank you for alerting me to my mistake. Please allow me to rephrase that.
Nobody *who matters* cares about Riddick but Vin Diesel at this point.
Yeah, I'll admit, that didn't sound particularly promising, but I contribute at least some of that to reviewer dislike. Bob makes no secrets about his opinions of movies when reviewing. Still, I'm hoping for a return to the galactic plotline in the future, regardless.RJ Dalton said:The "Riddick Series" has never been more than decent at its best (the first film) and it's decline has been painful to watch, especially since it represents an actor who can be really good when properly cast obsessing over the one moment when his career had promise. And I especially don't care to see a movie that's all about stroking Vin Diesel's injured ego by having characters repeatedly praise the character he loves. If I want that, I'll read fanfiction.
I thought it was biased of Bob to critique Riddick the character and totally ignore the games. I can respect Vin Diesel's ambition to creating a new and semi-original series, but it just needs something more to really bring in a bigger audience.Adam Jensen said:I never cared for the movies. But the games were amazing. As long as they make another one I'll be a happy camper.
