I actually talked with my cousin today about how nobody wants a Zelda MMO. Just goes to show how much the universe truly hates me.
To be fair, i don't think you can't make a great game like that. I'm just saying it won't be Zelda then in my eyes.Mr.Mattress said:Braedan said:Of course not. But I'm sure Nintendo can make a great game about finding artifacts to defeat the big bad, without bringing the same boring guy in green tights and an elf hat in every time.Braedan, Intheweeds comments should show you that you can't make a great game about finding artifacts to defeat a big bad without bringing in the same boring guy in green tights and an elf hat every time.intheweeds said:This is exactly my reaction!
Seriously, I have to be Link for it to be fun. Actually I have to be Link for it to be a Zelda game. But no one is going to get to or that would be silly. Therefore, it will not really be a Zelda game. It will just be another MMO which happens to look like a Zelda game, but instead, just bastardizes the IP.
OT: I've never played a Legend of Zelda game (Except for Twilight Princess, which was okay, but it wasn't my thing). I honestly wouldn't care for a Zelda MMO. However, if it is gonna be a Zelda MMO, then obviously, it's gonna be released for the Project Cafe, not the Wii.
That wont work for somthing like a zelda game, i dissagree.Gxas said:I'll bet it turns into something like Pokémon's dream world... I don't know how a Zelda MMO would be good anyway.
That and some Escapists racing to see who can reserve "Fagballs" first.anonikitty said:To be honest, a Zelda MMORPG would basically be an exercise in seeing how many usernames based on the word 'link' could be generated.
