I got home from college and thought no-one was home.

Went to the computer, brought up YouTube and started blasting MLP:FiM & singing along to the theme tune, shouting "IT'S PONY TIME, MOTHERFUCKERS!!!"

My mother was home.

I decided to try watching MLP. Got through 5 episodes before I realized that something like this was bound to happen eventually.

OT: Nope, but it was close one time. I had been... you know... at night and somehow fell asleep before I put my clothes back on. My parents came in the room the next morning and wanted to get me out of bed for some reason. I was able to just barely get them to leave, but I think they suspected something...

True, and this has been done, though there are still two problems:
a) If you happen to be wearing a shirt that isn't loose enough
b) Now they're in the room with you you can't stand up, so its reeeally awkward if they ask for help with something/ ask to use the computer and you just outright refuse to move.
Especially seeing as you've closed the browser window, so it doesn't even look like you're using the computer -__-
