Everyone has thought about doing it at some point surely.
I work in the stock rooms and storage freezers of a pub, and every so often I take a soft drink for myself. I dont think anyone has noticed.

If you have, what did you take? Was it worth it? Did you get away with it?

Well I've never had a job...

But I have stolen loose change from the pockets of other people's pants while doing laundry.

Heh... I'm about to start a course, which will allow me to start working at home as a freelancer of a sort, I shan't say what kind, nothing dirty... unless you hate correct spelling and grammar...
So, I suppose I could start to steal stuff from myself after I start...
Starting with milkshakes... I shall steal a lot of milkshakes...

I once had a student job where I had to do quality control on fruit and vegetables.
I absolutely hated it and the people I worked with and it wouldn't have mattered if I got fired, so I thought, why not?
We had free fruit an vegetables that month.

Nope, if Staff are caught stealing where I work, they call the police and parade them past all the customers in handcuffs.

My employer is a massive corporate entity that is constantly trying to find new ways to either indirectly lower my compensation or generate additional revenue from my labor without increasing my compensation.

I steal food, drink, toilet paper and paper towels, wash cloths, garbage bags... basically anything that isn't actual cash money. I don't feel remotely bad about it. Their constant disrespect has shown me the proper way to act in today's business world: take everything you can from everyone you can whenever you can, bending or slightly breaking the law whenever it suits you.

I only do this to massive, multinational corporations, though.

Yes I have. When I used to work at Foot Locker in the Mall of America there was a very draconian employee theft policy which included being patted down every time you left work, and just to defy the system, I made a point to steal from them. I'm not proud of it, but fuck them for not trusting their employees.

I guess at my current job, you could consider what I do stealing. It's hard to explain, but I'll try. I work at a liquor store and as you can guess, because everything is glass, things break. Well, anytime I want a beer, I take one, drink it, then break the bottle. After that, I put it in a breakage pile and we get compensated for it by the distributor since they have no idea who broke it. I'd feel worse about it than I do, but the mark up on alcohol is so much, they are hardly losing money, even if people do it in every liquor store in the state. I don't do it very often thanks to vendors coming in and basically getting me drunk on new products while I'm working.

Wow, I see that you have little to no morals based on what you think is ok for actions based on your real world.

I weep for your salvation, and I weep for your way of typing.
Or maybe it is you who thinks the world is one way when it is actually the opposite. Maybe?

Yeah, the world is all about stealing stuff, then we all quote stuff, then we all rape stuff, then we all kill other stuff, then we all look at stuff, then we all eat stuff, then we all flood stuff, then we all smother stuff, then we all ignore stuff, then we all bury stuff, then we all kill each other and blame other stuff.
Geez man, we're just talking about taking things from our employer. I'd hardly equate that with raping, killing, genocide, etc. No one doesn't lead to the other.

Erm. Do i really have to point out your circular logic here? Thats like smuggling a bomb into an airport JUST because they search you for one. How dare they not trust you! Fair enough my example was exaggerated but still. You kind of proved them right didnt you. They cant trust you and all you did was give credit to these searches. Do you brake into houses you see with burgler alarms? How about dealing drugs near policemen? For the record im only kidding, your statement made me laugh.

I steal stationary from my school pretty much all the time most of the time by accident, i get the feeling this will pass on into the workplace.

I haven't. Of the jobs I've had, I've either really liked the employers or the workplace had nothing worth stealing.

I've taken stationery, I think it's been about eight years since I last had to buy a pen.

Other than that, no.
