I made a point to steal from them. I'm not proud of it, but fuck them for not trusting their employees.
Erm. Do i really have to point out your circular logic here? Thats like smuggling a bomb into an airport JUST because they search you for one. How dare they not trust you! Fair enough my example was exaggerated but still. You kind of proved them right didnt you. They cant trust you and all you did was give credit to these searches. Do you brake into houses you see with burgler alarms? How about dealing drugs near policemen? For the record im only kidding, your statement made me laugh.
Some crackhead was trying to steal sweatshirts, and I ended up running him down in the maintenance stairwells where his dumbass took a swing at me, and my boss had the balls at the end of the day to still frisk me like I was in prison trying to smuggle contraband. I know you were just kidding and I don't mean that to be hostile towards you, I'm just pissed off at my former employer and how they treated their employees. I only proved them wrong because I felt it was point I needed to make, especially when I got paid minimum wage with no overtime, holiday pay, or benefits. Normally, I'm a very trustworthy person.

I think I'm the only person at my work who has paid for every piece of equipment I use for work. Uniforms, pens, knives, etc.

If anything, I could be accused of stealing their air or water, but that's about it.

yeah, I do all the time, I deliver newspapers so when I want one for myself I just take one off of one of the tables in the loading bay. Or I open one of the boxes scattered throughout the town I deliver papers in and take one. The higher-ups don't really seem to care, so whatever.

My employer is a massive corporate entity that is constantly trying to find new ways to either indirectly lower my compensation or generate additional revenue from my labor without increasing my compensation.

I steal food, drink, toilet paper and paper towels, wash cloths, garbage bags... basically anything that isn't actual cash money. I don't feel remotely bad about it. Their constant disrespect has shown me the proper way to act in today's business world: take everything you can from everyone you can whenever you can, bending or slightly breaking the law whenever it suits you.

I only do this to massive, multinational corporations, though.
Capitalism ftw?

Anyway, where I work, there isn't anything really worth stealing. :p

I hope your employers don't see this xD Although they probably won't know your online name.

Does school count? I used to steal tons of felt pens from school..

Although at my volunteer job there's nothing to take anyway ~o~

Sure I have.

The worst thing is, it's actually kind of allowed.
Everyone does it, the boss too.

Some tools here and there, road salt for the winter, all sorts of grease and aerosols.
It's nice to work as a mechanic.

And we get to use the workshop for our cars when we are at work, if there isen't so much to do.
And it rarely is.

Not really, as I work for my dad, in turn I'd just be stealing from myself. However, I have stolen from other companies while I've been on hire to them, but that's partly because a lot of these companies end up breaking or damaging one of our machines, but I suppose that's just me finding a petty excuse for being a gypsy.

Pretty much, yes. The nature of a corporation is to constantly push against the well-being of its employees. If you don't push back, you get run over. The best way to "hold your own" is to derive compensation from non-salary benefits - which is shorthand for steal anything that isn't nailed down. Nothing too severe, mind you, because you obviously want to keep your job. Just enough to make it worth your while when they announce new initiatives designed to increase your workload with pay increase or negatively adjust compensation.

Everytime I walk around at my workplace, I get twitchy fingered. I'm sort of kleptomaniac but I have such high moral standards.

But no, I've never stolen anything from work.

I haven't, simply because I don't have a job.
But if I did, it;s not like there;s really much to steal, unless it's a House of the Dead arcade machine.
My dad has one in the bar, and it's playable! :D
Many an afternoon was spent in front of that blasting away at moaning zombies and other undead entities :)

Well, since I don't have a job, It'd be pretty impressive if I had stolen something.
However, basically all my school equipment came from whatever people left lying around.

No but my mum and dad used to when they were cleaners at the local college dorms. This was a while back but coming home somedays to find a hardback collection of the first four Harry Potter books, a skateboard and a couple of PS1 games. The students did sought of leave them while they went back to the countries for a holiday so it isn't that bad...is it?
