I'd probably decide I really, really, really want to read up on Carl Jung. Then I'd go on a quest to discover who - or what - was messing with the collective subconscious of humanity.

I think that while I did this, people would be jumping up and down flapping their arms really hard trying to do a jump-glide thingy that isn't quite flying.

Oh, I'd probably also try to figure out why so many of my dreams give me the ability to jump-glide. That's kinda weird.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, you* actually have a few dozen dreams during the course of a single night. It's just the only one you tend to remember is the one you were having in the last few minutes before you wake up.

*and by "you" I mean people in general.

Yeah, you're wrong on that one I'm afraid. We all dream, even when we don't remember it, and people cycle in and out of REM sleep (the stage in which dreams are had) multiple times every night, not just for the last minute or so of sleep. If people only dreamed the last minute before waking up, wouldn't that imply some sort of precognitive ability in people who still dream but have no way of knowing when they're going to be woken up (for instance, if you get woken up at four in the morning by an insensitive acquaintance who thinks texts are exempt from the 10pm phone cut off; if it were true that you always dream in the last minute of sleep, if one remembered a dream in that instance, then it would imply that their brain predicted that they were going to be woken at four at least a minute before it happened so that it could start the dream.)

Anyways, I don't remember what I dreamed last night either, so I'm afraid it just wouldn't be all that interesting if everyone else had the same scenario too.

Through no fault of my own I dreamt about two gay naked fat guys, well, I think you can imagine.
I'm worried.

I much prefer the dream where I was dressed as Vincent Valentine from FFVII hidden underneath the desk of my old physics teacher waiting for an opportune moment to assassinate him. He needed to die because he fed my class exploding sweets and drove away to Essex so he wouldn't get caught. Who knows how he got back to my school so I could kill him... That was a much better dream.
