It's interesting to see that news about politicians attacking videogames always get lots of replies.
Are some feathers being bruised here, or is it just my stupid?

To be fair to him, he's not saying games = evil straight out. As has already been mentioned, it is the availability of such games to people below the age at which the game is targeted that is the problem he's identified. That's not misinformed. It's not bollocks. It's just true. Whether we like to hear it or not, shooting his way around liberty city is NOT the best way for a 12, or even a 14 year old to spend his afternoons. Around 15-16 these things get fuzzy imo due to varying times of "maturation" but before that... We are more impressionable. Simple as. Games will never cause someone with a normal mental state to shoot up a school or jack a car, but showing violence leads to acting out.
