Explain your username/avatar.

[Frybird]

Username: I used to go with several Nicknames back when i "discovered the internet" about 10 years ago, like *Fry*, P.J.Fry (after Phillip J. Fry of Futurama), Tracer Tong (from Deus Ex) and later Shikamaru (from Naruto...only thing that still rocks about the show afaik). So yeah, all of wich based on other characters.

Years later, i wanted a Nickname that was more unique and individual, especially since i can't stand a nickname with numbers behind it. While i occassionally also used my go-to Roleplay Character Name Pariah Sol, that one just felt too hammy for me.
In the end, i couldn't really come up with a really good or fun name, and so i mixed my "main user name" P.J.Fry with a song i very dearly love, moreso at that time, Freebird by Lynrd Skynrd.

Hence, "Frybird"
(not entirely unique, but never had problems with it for now)

Avatar: Nathan Fillon in an outtake from "Serenity", making the best out of a ruined scene by making a goofy face. The Outtakes of that movie are suprisingly funnier than most outtakes from other movies, including comedies. And some of the funnier ones are from the saddest and/or horrifying scenes.

Username: I think it's just "Fenring," which is from Count Fenring, who is a minor character in Dune. If there's a "42" after it, that's from Hitchhiker's Guide, because you know, 42.

Username: When I first got into Lord of the Rings, I visited a site called Barrowdowns and put my full name into the name generator. My username was what it came up with. Ironically, it means 'Fair-haired snow maiden', which since I'm a blonde living in Alaska, is absolutely perfect.

The slight change in Username (EmileeElectro) is because I was having a three way with my boyfriend and his friend, and his friend mentioned something about Pokemon, then something about the evolutions of Eevee. After a few minutes I suddenly realised that my initials were E V (Eevee) which made me happy and dance for a while.

The avatar is Axel because he's awesome, but I might change it soon.

Username: Came about as a typo of a freaky race of ... well im not sure what they are from the Series Wheel of Time called the Eelfinn (i wanted Semirhage but it was taken)

Username: benzooka

I had the username Ben Bazooka before. I did have that one for years, around many different places. I grew a bit tired of it and I thought to shorten it to benzooka. As for where the origins come from: my name isn't even anymore near Ben, Benjamin or any of that. I just like that name, the main reason probably being the character Ben from the anime Ginga Nagareboshi: Gin, which I loved as a little kid. It's about dogs fighting bears after all.

Bazooka comes from my likeness of guns although I don't prefer bazookas all that much. I was looking for an alliteration and that was a word to first come to mind. Too bad there seems to be a StarCraft II player, with bunch of matches in YouTube alone, also with the nick benzooka. And there are others too. I'd prefer it to be more unique. Now I've actually come up with another username, that I use in few other places. And then of course there's my real-life nickname that's very unique, but for some reason I don't use it online, except for couple accounts where the name doesn't matter that much.

I think I did that one a couple months ago. I've used Photoshop since 2004 so I'm quite comfortable playing with it. I was just bored and thought of making an avatar. One that would have my own face. After a bit of playing around, I got a hold of an idea like this. I also wanted to make it animated, but I couldn't decide the color it would use. I've barely done animated *.gif:s before so that was another reason to hone those skills.

Then I thought of making it change color in a rather smooth way, thought of how to execute that, and did it. It took me about an hour and a half. First doing something completely different and in the end, battling with compression settings.

As I'm a huge Futurama fan you can probably figure it out yourself.

Bender Bending Rodriguez is his name, i went with the slightly shorter alternative.
Avatar is a selfmade screen-cap, looks brilliant and has a clean look along with badges and username.
