I lost all my faith in Lionhead Studio's after Fable 2. It just felt so under-developed. Nothing really eventuated, it was just like walking through a park.

So, bollocks to their new game (if there is one).

To the Bioshock 2 mobile!

Roughly, three will be the same as the first two. Four is the one you want to look out for.

It should be based around Theresa, with you playing another decendant of the Hero of Oakvale, and her trying to get bring her brother back to life.

Personally I think if they do make a Fable 3 they should flip things around and make the main character a "Villain" trying to kill a hero. I think the main character (the one you're playing as) should be an explorer or something somehow coming across some texts that teach him the ways of Will, Skill, and Strength..OR having him trying to take over the spire for his goal of taking over the world. I think the protaganist should be another hero in training by Theresa who shows up time and time again screwing up all your plans. At the end I think it should end with a final show down between the two, if the hero wins then it's game over ..if you win then you can rule the world how you see fit.

It should be made steampunk this time, I reckon. Just think about it for a second. The first game was set in like a medieval time, Albion was sort of like Medieval England. Then they moved forward by about 500 years, and the new Albion was similar to later periods of history, moving nearer to the Tudor period. Now why not do Victorian era styles for Albion? Perhaps make it set in an Industrial Revolution of sorts and introduce steampunk elements, because let's face it, there aren't nearly enough good steampunk games out there (Bioshock is probably the best known good one, of course), and we'll just get bored of seeing the same style repeated over and again. Trouble is, Peter Molyneux isn't exactly renowned for listening to the fans...
EXACTLY what this guy just said.

That's a good idea. I reckon I'd enjoy that.
Were there still rapiers in the Victorian era? My history's a little rusty.

I think Fable 2 was an okay game. The dog was unecessary, but a nice change of pace. The co-op is a little weak and if there is a fable 3 I would like to see that improved. All in all I would at least try Fable 3. And it is safe to say that Fable 2 was so hyped up that when it didn't live up to it all it just up and died slowly, but surely.

I seem to remember them saying that her and the Spire would be delt with in the second DLC.

And to the person who said Kreia and Theresa had the same voice actor, you're wrong.

I think that in fable 3 you should start out as the heros son/daughter and watch the hero A.K.A. your parent die and then you set out for revenge on the murderer but really find out a demon inside you killed the hero and there should be actual bosses you have to fight instead of like the little mini bosses(trolls and banshees) that just kinda are like speed bumps.

I don't think full on steampunk would work, but having all the missile weapons be firearms and having the odd zeppelin would be awesome. Fable rests on the triple headed play of magic, shooting and melee too much to become a setting where shooting should logically become dominant.

Where I think Fable could improve is making the character interaction more deep and meaningful. Rather than having you dance in front of people to gain their love and respect have a system of conversation trees where you can make them like you more by saying the right things. You could make this an extension of the the focus on people thing you had in Fable II. Also combat could be better.

I don't care as long as the game world is huge, and it has Knothole Glade built in, not some fucking download shit WHICH I CAN"T GET AS I HAVE NO LIVE AND ME WANT MORE FABLE 2.

Seriously, some more customization, changed settings (like different cities etc.) and a bit different character design.

I dunno, I thought that Fable 2 seemed Industrial Revolution-y.

As for a steampunk sequel, very yes. I was disappointed at the Clockwork Rifle because it wasn't actually clockwork; I would love to see an improvement on it next time.

I agree. I'm very pissed off at that as I am stuck in the same position as you are.

Well I think the should pull a terminator an just disavow the story from fable two. I honestly think it would be better to have you play during the time the heroes guild was being dissolved and your jobs, as one of the heroes on the lamb, is to convince people the they still need the heroes guild, either through showing them your goodness, or taking down some corrupt official taking advantage of the turmoil. I could go more in depth but I think you get the gist of what I'm saying.
I don't think this would work because that would mean that your doomed to fail in the end. I also like the steampunk idea but I'm pretty sure its just going to be as shit as Fable 2's storyline in that it will be incredibly black and white and cliched. I don't really care about the story as long as they make the gameworld bigger and don't shrink it like they did in Fable 2

Someone on here suggested that Fable 3 could be slightly steampunkish, which I thought was a fantastic idea, I think it's a sure bet that the third game will be a few hundred years in the future, just like the second game was.

The really, really annoying thing is that out of the areas in Fable 1 I liked Knothole glade the most. Fable 2 still has some nice places, but you can't beat the dark forest feel of Knothole Glade, very folksy.

Oh I know, I was just:
A: explaining to anyone who was like "What's so great about Knothole Glade" (I get paranoid about random things)
B: Reaffirming the point that I feel robbed
C: Just continuing my complaining, I miss Knothole Glade enough to create extra posts voicing my mild outrage while not adding much in the way of extra points.

True.

Speaking about extra points, I demand a return of the Fishing mechanism.
