I was reading this and I was like 'meh' (I have an amazing total of two friends on Facebook, the girl who told me to join so I could see her vacation pictures because she couldn't be arsed to post them elsewhere and an Argentinian girl with the same last name, which is actually my middle name) but then I was like, wait, browser-based 3D FPS? That's kind of awesome.

After the lagged, bugged, cracked, hacked, glitched and marvellously FREE (but you have to pay for real good stuff, if not you get shitty weaponry) "Combat Arms", now it's Brave Arms??? am i being fooled again?

This somehow makes "Meet interesting people and kill them" less of a joke. It'll be interesting to see if it can be pulled off but it's definetely a risky venture.

I still don't trust Facebook, after that scandal with the people behind FarmVille. It's insane.
I may be living under a hole, what is this scandal?

I think most of these Facebook apps are (to borrow a phrase from Yahtzee) "grindtastic", and that's the only reason I keep going on (besides planning events). But, the addition of a "social FPS" might actually be a clever way to have an engaging game on Facebook that doesn't feel like a to-do list. Now if you'll excuse me, I think it's time to harvest my crops.

i agree, tending crops is tedious to say the least but the social hooks keep bringing me back.. having those same social elements with a game that is actually fun to play gets me excited

This actually looks interesting. Making some of my non-gamer friends try to play this should be hilarious....

(Youtube video idea #456): Have non-gamer friends play Brave Arms, and watch hilarity ensue.

Meh. Sounds interesting. My main problem with Facebook is that the games there aren't challenging, fleshed out or immersive at all. This is a step in the right direction of done right.

What would Admiral Ackbar do? Oh yes! It's a trap, etc.

I'm still not joining Facebook!
