I was recently reading a thread regarding the illustrious Glenn Beck of the glorious channel Fox News, and I began to wonder if the rest of you Escapists know the real truth behind them. Please, take a minute or two to read the following article, and let me know if your opinion of them has changed or remained the same.

Seriously, Fox News leads the pack in crappy, biased news reporting. If it's not Bill O'Reilly's sad, obsessive commentary or Glenn Beck's insanity, then it's their inability to comprehend that anything good exists outside of the United States. Granted, Rupert Murdock has a giant influence on that, he being racist and sexist himself.

But even CNN is pretty awful. You have Lou Dobbs who can't even understand the difference between economics and diplomacy. MSNBC/CNBC suck, since they like to fuck with people's lives.

Yeah, you have to read between the lines when you watch these channels. Local affiliates are starting to get just as bad as their cable ones, too.

He picks up the other side of the argument, that's for sure, and when Al Gore started firing the scientists that found different sources for "Global Warming" Bill was the only one to pick it up. CNN said they purposely ignored it.

O'Riley condemned Bush on many occasions but sticking up for him does not make him biased, well not anymore biased than CNN kissing Obamas feet everywhere he goes

I don't agree with all of his arguments but you cant bash him if you've never seen his show, that's an uneducated opinion.

I guess watch more than the O'Riley factor and more than John Stewart, your going to, in the end, to apply common sense and be critical of the news you get.

Rupert Murdoch is Australian. He also helped out the Chinese Communists spread their propaganda. It's anti-democratic to have a foreigner with that much influence over the news and public opinion.

They're a little better. But you need to get as wide a net of information as you can, before you make any judgments.

it comes down to you cant make an opinion based on Stewart or Colbert or (believe it or not!) what you dig up from some tinfoil hat wearing guttersnipe on the internet.

Dont form your opinion from what Obama says about Hannity or O'Riley or Limbaugh says.
I don't care who you are, or what your political standing is, listen the hell up and make your own opinion. If you watch the show (reading a random article wont be enough) and you say its not for you then its not for you but if you troll and you just take this article from some guy on some random forum (like this one) your never going to get the whole story.
