Go to GOG.com, you can get both for $6 each, no DRM.

Or you can get them illegally and get a glitchy, unfinished, and probably virus filled file.
dought it... why do people always assume a pirated copy have something wrong with them???
Probably because in the 5 years I worked at geek squad 9 out 10 computers that came in with virus or problems with programs. They have limewire or bittorent or some other torrent /p2p system installed and when you ask them for a cd to reinstall the software or whatnot they usually say oh I just downloaded it I don't have a cd or anything.
well, that's just idiots being idiots.

I have a cousin who clicks "Ok" to get through popups

And an aunt who's system was ENTIRELY infected with dozens of different viruses (about 30,000 infected files when I fixed her PC), and she doesn't even know what piracy means, let alone how to do it.

Lots of pirates are conscientious about viruses.

Um, that's totally unrealistic. Hell, most non-legit games run faster/better than the legit stuff. Not that it'll be an issue with games this old, but still...

Also, I would personally trust Steam more than GOG. Sure, GOG has a zero-DRM policy, but if I were to bet moeny on which company would still be operating in 10, 20, hell even 50 years from now, it would be Steam.
Except it doesn't matter if GOG is still around, since the games you buy have no DRM, you could make as many backup cds as you want. I think I have about 7 copies of Fallout 2 distributed between various computers, USB drives, and disks.
I really doubt anyone who buys from the site is going to make hard-copy backups just in case the company goes bust.
But you can't even make hard-copies of Steam games... So how are they better? And you can't blame a company if people are stupid anyways.

GOG gives you an .exe. You can't make it any easier.

No, just no. If you have half a brain and know how to read comments from other downloaders, you can get a copy that works just fine. Piracy is wrong though, guess I have to add that in there, even though I don't believe it.

Well, I do, at least. Anyway, then it's the stupid customer's fault, my point was that GOG failing would have no effect on a customer with common sense.

That'd be great if people actually left comments...

10,000 downloads and NOT ONE comment.

GOG is a good site, I'm really surprised people haven't heard of it before!

6$ each?
 Nice.
Nice? I bought Fallout 1 three weeks ago for a mere $1 at my local shop. Yeah. One dollar. IN A BOX. Original box, with original CD.

I think Gametap had Fallout 1 for free at some point. Don't know if they still do. I still got my original copies luckily. But it meant sitting through some ads first.

Yeah, it seems more like blindly and incorrectly guessing.

Because people are silly, it's do it my way or don't do it at all. That or they've never pirated something before, I have fallout 3 and I torrented it for free sure I have to wait 2 more days to get my DLC patches but I don't have to pay for mine.

Now thats just not true. Most illegal downlaod sites are very private, (impossible to join without an invitation) and safer than you think

Yeah, you found me out. No way I'm speaking from experience and most games I've downloaded from major pirate sites have had graphic problems or freezing issues. *rolls eyes*

Clearly you aren't speaking from experience.
