I want it out of America. I don't care if it's Fallout : Hong Kong, London, Paris, Tokyo... I just want to hear some different accents while I'm killing people!

But alas, Fallout 4 is set in Las Vegas. I hold strong hopes for #5 (HahahahAHHAHAhahahaHAhaHahaAAHAHAAAAHAHAAhahahahaa!!! Yeah, right...)

Not to be one to hop on the bandwagon, but yeah. Maybe a FO set somewhere else would help. Or maybe hinder. It all depends on what the game team wants to do so.

I mean if I was a game designer I'd pretty much listen to some of the things the whiny fans wanted, but pretty much do what I thought fit since, well, it's my game any way. Some fans make valid points others, just like to whine..endlessly.

They do need to make some changes, but sometimes the designers don't get to make that choice, it's the higher ups who shit out outrageously stupid ideas and make the people put it in to help satisfy their own ends. And yes, I know this has nothing to do with what's going on..sorry..needed a quick rant.

Back on topic. Maybe a change of local wouldn't be so bad. As previously stated, to bad it's already placed in Las Vegas. I don't really care where they bloody set the game to be honest. I'll play it, more then likely enjoy some points and hate others, but that's my opinion of it. Just like everyone will have their own opinion. So, yeah I'm done and feel better.

And for the love of Batman, don't egg on the guy who just randomly spurted out Elder scrolls 5..it has nothing...N.O.T.H.I.N.G to do with this conversation..

I just want more hours of gameplay. Which I know might sound silly considering the length of Fallout 3, but I never wanted it to end. I rarely stick with games all the way to their conclusion as I have little time to play, but I clocked over 100 hours by the time I got to Broken Steel.

I would hate to have special 'vehicle sections' as I generally tend to find they ruin the experience of any game that has them. However maybe the odd contraption for getting around the wasteland might be good. Of course you'd have to maintain them. Plus the enemy should be able to steal them.

Otherwise, saddle up dogmeat and ride him to eternity.... In a manner of speaking.

I think a jolly around a few countries might be interesting. Maybe there is a need to communicate information with other countries, but as communications can be intercepted, they send you to pass on the message.

Fallout 4: Toronto Wasteland! I mean it could work. America did annex Canada, so they probably did put one vault near Canada's most populated city. Plus there's lots of unique districts in the city to explore like, Dundas square, Chinatown, Saint Lawrence Market, Union Station, High Park... Sure It's more of an Urban setting, but at least it would be more varied urban wreckage than, bombed out house, brown hills, bombed out subway tunnel, ruined monument...

Would be nice to see a fallout game that isnt based in North America, starting to get old.
Problem is, Fallout IS North America. It's like saying Prine of Persia should stop being oriental altogether.

The whole concept of Fallout is that it is this alternate world, where the future is like people in 60's from the US thought the future would be. The whole concept takes fro granted that the beholder is American, that the commies and Russians are villains, and that things grows and gets superpowers when exposed to radiation. The original Spiderman was bit by a radioactive spider ;)

Also, there is no computers based on microchips in Fallout, because it's never invented. All computers base on vacuum tubes (Which makes me wonder how on earth the Pip-boy can be so small...)

Co-op could work.

Vehicles: Nuh uh, no way, I'm not having that.

The other two is basically FO2.
I wouldn't mind vehicles actually, it would make dull treks across the wasteland fun.

The brotherhood and enclave should have tanks and vertibirds also. I want to fly a vertibird...now
They already have tanks.
They're called POWER ARMOUR SOLDIERS.
PA was developed to replace tanks.

I would like (the option of having) a more FPS oriented fighting mechanic. VATS got on my nerves royally after a while, I know for a lot of people it works perfectly but I would prefer the option to do some good old twitch shooting.

Vehicles of some description would be interesting, the more Heath Robinson the better and who wouldn't want their own Vertibird?

Other than that, better bugfixing is the main one.

What I'd love to see in a Fallout game would have to be some sort of multiplayer. Often when playing it with some of my chaps, we'd discuss how cool it would be to be able to play as a team of wastelanders. Like 4-5 or something like that, so it won't interfere with the atmospheric isolation.
That and I'd also like to have some sort of disposable transport, like a car or something along the the lines of that.
And for the love of god, more realistic looking 3rd person animations. 3rd person in Fallout 3 was horrible, looked like a bunch of cripples iceskating.

Put it back in the isometric(sp?) view, such as in the First 3 games. Also, bring back the trait system.
Higher level cap, too, please. I'm thinking somewhere around 100.

Also, revised SPECIAL would be nice. I also want the old percentile skill system back.

Aren't they making Fallout: New Vegas? or are we not counting it cause it doesn't have a number at the end?
It's a spin-off. Not Fallout 4.

I'd like a game where we start off as a love-child of an Enclave officer/soldier, and get brought up as such. Something crucial happens in our childhood (such as the Enclave getting ruined by one of the previous game's protagonists), which causes the character to question his motives.

Keep it TES-styled in the way of F3, but bring back Black Isle's humour and dark comedy.

I'd like to see San Francisco, as someone previously mentioned.

You know what I'd want?
Hawaii. All of it. Not at first, obviously, that'd be far too tremendous, but at least the main island, and make the others DLC. The main story would be the discovery that the volcanos are about to blow their load and you're a young tribal boy/girl (the tribes being the only peoples to survive the war, being far enough away from heavily-populated centers and the vaults being covered with the volcanic eruptions initially following the bombs) who encounters several BoS scientists studying the effects of the war on submarine life, but were washed on shore after a vicious storm, and are desperately trying to help make an old battleship or aircraft carrier or something operational again so as to retreat to the mainland. Super-mutants, raiders, and the Enclave would be replaced by rival, sometimes ghoulish tribes attempting to steal the tech from your new comrades, as well as the crew of a military submarine that washes on shore about halfway through the main story who wants the ship in order to expand "The Armada", which consists of remnants from eastern-asian countries and their navies, pushed out of their homelands by the Chinese prior to the Alaskan invasion. After the main story is complete, a DLC would have you as what is essentially a pirate, landing on the west coast periodically to take supplies, or as you helping the scientists and landing on the coast permanently, being stationed at the BoS port, to make sure any of said pirates don't get their hands on the boats.
Bam, no Enclave, only the faintest hint of the BoS, and an opportunity to get a totally new perspective on the war and it's aftermath.

Houston Texas! Awesome city, lots of guns. Just think, Mexican ghouls! Also, we need to be able to earn a "fast travel" feature, like have to save up for a vehicle or build one. Also, mutated horses as mounts.
