I am rather partial to the "alien" weapons, the Firelance and the Alien Blaster...
Although I also like using the Victory (Sniper) Rifle and Scoped .44 Magnum for headshoting goodness :-D

I also enjoy throwing Nuka-Grenades at everyone
Blue shiny explosions and burning goodness after = Awesome

The Blackhawk you get from Agatha. Also Protectron's Gaze, which is a laser pistol that shoots rounds like a shotgun. Both are badass. Now for a duel wield mechanic in the DLC...

I love the Deathclaw Gauntlet.

But as for my favorite, I'd have to go with my Xuanlong assault rifle, or "The Chinese Assault Rifle, but more badass". Coming close on it's heels is A3-21's Plasma Rifle and then the Combat Shotgun. Between the Xuanlong and the Terrible Shotgun, nothing stands in my way. There's a reason the Capitol Building is empty.

Where do you find the alien blaster (and alien space craft). I've found an alien power cell up north west area near to some transmitters, but nothing more.

It's southwest of Old Oney, you'll pick up the radio signal "Recon Craft Theta" when you're close

Fucking Missile Launcher, every Supermutant, Bandit and their mothers has one and they keep blowing me up with them. I ran into a pair of raiders that both had missile launchers! I was VERY happy to blast their heads into tiny little bits.

Ok, I have a new favourite: Liberty Primes Eye Laser.

You have to add it by console (adding ammo is also a necessity because it uses a lot,) and there is no textures or animation (you just hold an invisible gun while laser appears from the air in front of you.)
But all that doesn't matter when you have this awesome laser!

Oh, and adding his bombs are fun too (unlimited supply). Who needs hand grenades when you can throw nukes?

i picked weapons per enemy

Enclave - Vengence ( named Gattling laser)
Super mutants - Eugene ( Minigun)
Ghoals - Burnmaster ( named flamer found it in train tunnels near citadal)
Everything else - Sniper rifle
and for shits and giggles the Miss Launcher ( no i didnt misspell that)
its a missile launcher found in outcast base, that has for lack of a better word been turned into a grenade launcher... get it you will see its fun...

side note to Abe's repeating rifle i loved it when i used it and loved it more when i gave it to Charon and he shoots everyone for me

Scoped 44 Magnum and the Hunting Rifle (a kar98, I believe?). The FatMan also holds a place in my heart.

Actually, the Hunting Rifle is based on the Remington 700 Nut yeah, it is an amazingly reliable gun, Dave's version is what i use the most out of V.A.T.S, also, the terrible shotgun, cause you just can't beat running up to someone and blowing their brain all over the wall.

Not my favorite but it does come in handy. I do belive that unless you use the leet haxors you cannot get any more ammo for it.

I recently got the unique hunting rifle Ol' Painless. Zero spread makes it super useful for long range.

I just found the alien blaster it's awesome, although I wouldn't mind finding that gun that shoots 8 mini-nukes compared to shooting one with the fatman.

Sniper Rifle and Silenced 10mm Pistol for me. Then again, my tag skills were Lockpicking, Sneak, and Small Guns, so it works.
