I like the Chinese Assault Rife the most, has to be said. Something about that sound that is so very satisfying.

Number One is definitely Lincoln's Repeater. It's extremely effective and makes an oh-so-satisfying "ping" sound whenever it fires.
Number Two is the Sniper Rifle because sniping will never become boring for me.
And Number Three is the Railway Rifle. It may kind of suck but I get a warm feeling inside when I nail a charging Raider's head to a wall with a spike. =)

Feel free to disagree but it's one of the best weapons in the game on both close quarters and long range.

My alien blaster finally ran out of ammo, but I put it in my megaton home right next to my powdered wig and Abe action figure, as for my new favorite weapon it's got to be that androids plasma gun kills most enemies in at least 2 shots using V.A.T.S.

A tie between The Terrible Shotgun and Abe Lincolns repeater. Both awesome weapons, specially in VATS. Once you get small guns up you almost always hit, and they used together rip anything short of a behemoth apart.

I'd probably like the Fat Man if I knew were to get it.

You can find it during the 'Following In His Footsteps' quest. When you get to Galaxy News Radio, a Behemoth Super Mutant attacks, and you have to take it out with a Fat Man you find on a dead BOS knight.

I killed the Behemoth but I couldn't find it on any of the knights... how many are there?

The dead one that gets killed by standing next to the convenient exploding cars.
