Top of the list: Ninetails, hands down. It's a fire fox.

Dragonair(not Dragonite when it turns into some orange Barney-like-thing), and basically any Dragon based Pokemon(besides Dragonite once again). That goes for most Fire Pokemon, too.

Probably either Luxray or Absol.
I've had Luxray in both Diamond and Platinum, the former of which I lost somewhere. It's my highest-leveled Pokemon, too. Crunch and Thunder Fang kick ass. Thunder Fang can not only make the foe's Pokemon flinch, it can also paralyze it. Yeah, it's my favorite move.
Absol, well, mostly because I like its back-story, and just how it looks. The horn, and how its black and white except for its eyes, really just appeals to me for some reason. Not only that, but it has a great move list, too. Psycho Cut and Perish Song are great moves.

The original 151 (or so) were pure win. (Except Porygon or whatever it was called. 'da fuck, guys?) Anything after that was just a cash grab and everybody knows it!

I call shenanigans on the Pokemon people! (Nintendo? I've never been sure.)

If you wanted something specific, then probably Scyther, Kabutops, or Gyrados. And, of course, Squirtle: the king with the sweet shades.
