Today I came across the webcomic LFG (Looking for Group) after reading some of it a while back and found myself unable to stop reading. Several hours and many page changes later (around 347 scenes) I finaly caught up to the writers and am waiting for more to be written. This is strange for me as I don't often read webcomics but this one held my interest and I'm currently enjoying it.

I would recommend anyone here who enjoys webcomics (or even those who haven't looked yet) to have a read http://lfgcomic.com/

Additionaly, what webcomics do the rest of the escapist read and which would you recommend?

:Addendum:

As a few people have pointed out, this type of thread may have been done before, I am aware of that. However any such threads have not been active in quite some time so I figured I'd ask the escapist this again as new comics may have been released since then and I'm also interested in what good reads there are and this can change frequently.

Not sure if I actual have a set list of favourites, but I read:
Looking For Group
Dark Legacy Comics (WoW based)
Wow eh? (WoW based)
8-bit Theater (It's nearly completed its run, and the guy is going on to do Atomic Robo)
Anti-HEROES (If you like Order of the Stick, then read this) (D&D based)
Order of the Stick (Recommended) (D&D based)
Penny Arcade (Recommended. Sort of. PA doesn't really need recommendation due to its immense popularity)
Teh Gladiators (Recommended) (WoW based)
PvP Online (Recommended)
Ctrl+Alt+Del (don't judge me)
Darths and Droids (I have read DM of the Rings as well, definitely a recommendation on both parts) (D&D based)
Goblins Life (Recommended) (D&D based)
GU Comics
Heroes of Lesser Earth (Recommended) (D&D based(
Manic Graffiti (WoW and Starcraft II based)
Pokemon X
The Noob Comics (definitely a recommendation here) (based around Old school MMOs that had permadeath/xp penalties for death/Proper PKing)
Weregeek (Recommended for Geeks and Nerds everywhere)
Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comics (definitely a recommended read)
Complex Actions (sometimes WoW-based, but not a WoW comic)
GG-guys (pretty good webcomic)
Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth (Completed. WoW based. Damn good)
Flintlocke v.s The Horde (Completed. WoW based. Damn Good. By the guy who did the first Flintlocke. Can be viewed on Gamespy)

I read a lot of webcomics in my free time.

xkcd wins outright, because it updates consistently and is funny consistently.

VGCats misses on the former, sister comic Super Effective likewise, and Dueling Analogs I keep up with mostly out of habit and for the occasional hilarious moment.

I'm going to suggest three comics rather off the beaten path, at least for webcomic readers who don't generally stray far from the subjects of gaming and geekery.

Lackadaisy Cats [http://www.lackadaisycats.com/] - A period webcomic about Prohibition era St. Louis. As you might expect, there's lots of action involving speakeasies, rum running and tommy guns to be found. And yeah, everyone's an anthropomorphic cat. Don't dismiss it just because of that; I can assure you, the art, writing and general feel of Lackadaisy is much, much higher than what you might expect from a "furry" webcomic (if it can even be called that).

The Abominable Charles Christopher [http://www.abominable.cc/] - It's rather hard to describe what this one's about because it's still rather in its infancy. Many of the plot elements are still shrouded in mystery. So far, it's revolved around a mute, simple minded Bigfootesque creature, the titular Charles Christopher, and his interactions with various woodland creatures. It's mostly humorous, light-hearted stuff, but it can get very dark, very fast, and often takes turns into the outright bizarre.

Gunnerkrigg Court [http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/index2.php] - For lack of a better descriptor, it's the continuing story of a girl's time at an academy for students gifted in etheric sciences, the regulated, logical counterpart to traditional "it works because that's what it does" magic. Again, very difficult to describe, but surely very interesting for anyone remotely interested in robots, magic, science, and the conflict that is bound to happen when those three elements meet. Also, laser cows.

Favourite? Probably Super Effective, but I'd also like to mention Gone With the Blast-Wave too.

I read the ones at VGCats every now and then. Not the kind of thing I anticipate each release of though.

[a href="http://headtripcomics.comicgenesis.com/d/20060303.html"]Head Trip[/a] It's always on hiatus though.
I see people seem to have covered the rest of my favourites: Questionable Content and XKCD.
Oh yeah, you need to read [a href="http://abstrusegoose.com/1"]Abstruse Goose[/a] in tandem with XKCD. It's geekier than XKCD. Yeah, you read that right.
