FBI Reportedly Arrests LulzSec Hacker (Or Not)

Can't wait till the Feds kick down their doors and haul their suburban white American asses off to prison. It'll be fun seeing who's lulzing then.

Ultimately lulzsec will be used as an argument why TOR and bitcoin should be made illegal, use of proxies outlawed and restrictions on the internet imposed.

There'll be people laughing for sure. But you aren't going to be one of them.

Anyone remember just recently when everyone was predicting the downfall of Anonymous? Because they had finally "gone too far" by attacking HBGary and Sony and taunting the FBI? What happened there? Oh right, nothing. Now we have another group laughing in the face of our government and their power over the internet. Fortunately, the net is still free. Let us hope it stays that way. While I don't particularly care for this group, they are doing something for which they believe in. I can respect those sort of people who risk themselves for an ideal. Both LS and Anon are fighting the man for free internet and free speech like all those crazies who say that the government can take their guns from their cold dead hands. We'll see if those are more talk than action when those dumb laws come along.

These guys are seriously annoying. It's a surprise that people with egos this big can actually find time to do any hacking (what with all the self-admiration and the needless gloating). What LulzSec has done is taking all of the decent values of of Anonymous, and then used them as an excuse to annoy people just 'fr teh lulz'.

And that is why LulzSec should be put down.

Anon has ruined peoples lives because simply because they posted embarrassing videos on the internet.

They have goaded people into committing suicide live on webcam.

Not every anon is bad but it was never created for good, the only reason there is a united front on internet freedom is because it threatens both the good and bad anon.

Not sure if the FBI specifically can, but we have certainly incarcerated plenty of non-US citizens over the past few years.

They actually can't arrest outside of the U.S., but what they can do is alert MI5 in the U.K. or CSIS in Canada and so forth. These guys would basically take evidence provided by the FBI, incarcerate the suspects, fact check the evidence, and then lay formal charges. (usually in that order.)

That may be the case, but at least Anon tried to cover it up with values. LulzSec has just taken it too far, and hardly even bother to pretend they are actually trying to achieve anything. They even named themselves after teh lulz, for Christ's sake.
