I didn't play many recent games, sorry.

I do not remember if I've mentioned them in previous thread (i.e. Mark I), but still I'll go with Blue Mary and Vanessa from King of Fighters series:
They are my two most favourite fighting game female characters, because not only they are amasingly fun to play as, but also are incredibly beautiful without being over sexualized. I have nothing against eye-candies and revealing clothing, buuut I preffer this kind of design. Still, no Mai no buy.

Also, Yuna from Final Fantasy X:
Beautiful face and really great choice of clothing. Overall, great character design.

Ok yes I am a Borderlands fanboy.

Lilith, probably one of the sexiest video game characters of all time in my honest opinion.

Obvious reasons.

Athena. Because everything about her just says "BADASS!"

Sasha. Manages to be a badass with out being a highly trained and well equipped Vault Hunter.

Fiona. Much like Sasha, she's also a badass and... well just look at her.

While I dislike much of the lore that's been tacked onto Team Fortress 2 over the years, there is one element of it that I welcomed; Ms. Pauling.
What can I say, I have a thing for women with glasses.

She also has an intriguing personality, a mix of stone-cold professionalism and bubbly nerd (she's been known to play tabletop RPGs with the mercs). She's like the tenth class that never was. Indeed, the mercs tend to treat her as an equal and genuinely value her input and support.

Plus, she's the only character that actually looks good wearing a gibus:

I've been playing a lot of Granblue Fantasy lately and I really love the character designs in that game. And on that note, I present to you some of my favourite girls from Granblue:

First character is Narumea:
The Doraf shortstack oneesan, whose sword changes shape depending on how she wants to strike the enemy. One of, if not the hardest hitting melee character in the game. Her curvy, shortstacked body is just adorable.

Next up is Cagliostro:
Cagliostro is often referred to as "best girl" and I can understand why. She's a 100 year old male alchemist in the body of a homonculus. After her previous body came to the end of its life, she decided to live the next 100 years as a female and so created this body to inhabit. Cag shows interest in both male and female characters.

Do you guys like lesbian Yanderes? I sure as hell do.
Vira is a Dark Fencer who is really good at debuffing targets while buffing herself and protecting her party members from status ailments. She also has a very hard hitting nuke that deals massive shadow and light damage and heals her. She eats a diet of fresh fruit and vegetables only so she can keep her body pure for her beloved Katalina.

Then there's Mariah:
Mariah is one of my favourites, she's the hardest hitting Earth SR and thanks to this the community affectionately refers to her as Chocolate Wonder Woman.

And last up if the cute Christmas mascot of GBF, Fastiva:
Fastiva is male bodied but identifies as a female, preferring feminine pronouns and loves to dress fabulously. She isn't ashamed of her male body however, and is quite proud of her ability to to punch things with the force of a brick shithouse.

I thought Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles was pretty cute in the Speed frame (the blue one on the right) and with glasses as the head equipment:

But what made that really stand out, compared to typical "half-naked anime girl" designs that are normal in RPGs was the item description for the second tier Speed frame:

Custom Mechonis torso part that protects via an imperceptible barrier.
Imperceptible barrier.

Imperceptible barrier.

Imperceptible barrier.

She's not naked, she's just wearing armor made out of invisible clothes! I laughed a bit harder than I think I should have when I read that in the game.

There's also the cutscenes in the game where her pendant starts glowing red and suddenly becomes a deus ex machina (ha ha, I made a punny). The thing is, it's the exact same shape as a v-cut top, and the pendant is basically skin colored. So the end result, especially if you're playing on the 3DS version where the graphics are a bit more blurry, is that it looks like the single greatest contributor to Team Shulk's survival and thus the continued existence of all life on Bionis and Mechonis is Fiora's cleavage.

You left off Patricia Tanis, the one with the awesome mind and she has aspergers so she's amazing. Yes her brain is part of her form and that's why she's one of my favorites.

If we're going more recent games, then I've got a soft spot for Laura from Street Fighter 5.

Looking at the pictures it seems we're talking about good/interesting designs (personalities included) rather than pure sex appeal, which is great! I want to talk designs too :D

Chris Lightfellow (Suikoden III)

Her armour looks a little plain and unusually realistic, which is weirdly enough what makes a design like this a rare sight. There are so many overdesigned pieces of armour in games, something as practical as this stands out. But what I really, really love about this design is Chris' hair. You don't see much of it in this picture, but it's an intricate style with several braids brought together and held up on the back of her head. It's both elegant and practical. And while long hair certainly is nice, the promise of long hair is alluring in its own way. Name and job aside, Chris is very much a woman.

Gwendolyn (Odin Sphere)

Eh, yeah, it's the hair. Love the hair. Well, not just the hair, actually. It's interesting that instead of just sticking some wings on her back, they're placed on her sides, making them a lot more birdlike while at the same time giving them the appearance of some sort of skirt. Beautiful colours.

Shallistera (Atelier Shallie)

The Atelier series has the cutest girls. I adore the warm colours used in Shallie's outfit. They go so well with her long, black hair.

I'm so happy there's a Gravity Rush sequel and more Kat, but so sad it's going to be exclusive to a console I wasnt planning on purchasing for years. Anyone know if the DLC is decent value?

Can't post pics at the moment edit in later but character is a very important aspect, it's the difference between Stifflers mom and Jessica Rabbit, one is just suppose to look hot and the other oozes sexy as a . I tried to think of a live action example of a well known sex bomb but I really couldn't

And to the people at the start who have a problem with this and attempted to derail with poor logic the thread is female form.

I'd dare to say Orendi actually.
She doesnt have the aspect of a lady you might expect in a game (if anything, she's hellbent on chaos). Then again, it seems not much of her original self is left.

A not so recent example, mhm. I'll make sure not to mention my most favorite character, so I nominate ABA for a not so recent character.

Holy shit, did Fiona tick all the boxes I have for great character and instant crush. Listing all of them would take too much time, so I'll just say 'everything about her'. Sasha didn't even hold a candle to her, probably since dreadlocks are a huge turn off for me.

There's an English version coming out in March 2016. At the current time there is a dedicated English playerbase, and if you'd like I can link you a guide with plenty of translations and info on how to play. There's no loss to starting now, because the English option will just be an option on the current version and on the same servers meaning any progress you make won't be lost transitioning to English.
