I'm a foot fetishist, and I haven't the slightest idea why I became attracted to them. I used to think feet were the worst body part, and all of a sudden I woke up one day and decided they didn't look so bad. I know the part of the brain that controls the nerves in the foot is very close to the part that interprets sexual pleasure, and that's commonly used as justification, but I'm not 100% on that. Also, the feet are one of the most sensitive places on the human body.

I can usually see why most fetishes MIGHT be logical, but that doesn't mean I don't think quite a few are absolutely disgusting, like scat. I also don't fully understand more mundane fetishes (Hats, glasses, etc.), though I have to admit I have a big thing for headphones for some reason. I suppose I'm just a freak like that...

The way I see it, any fetish involving the sexual organs makes sense. I mean, you'd need to be really brave, lack all sense of smell, and have the immune system of to actually act on it. But scat just seems to make sense as an extension of another attraction that makes sense.

Now I would like to see which fetishes you don't really understand why people are into them. Remember to be kind here, we don't want to bring on the wrath of the moderators, or even worse, the cosmic owl.

For me, it would have to be Vore. I mean I have seen some before, and I guess going into the mouth could be considered sexy in a way, yet being swallowed and digested dose not seem like my cup of tea.

Apparently some people find distended stomachs on women attractive, likeas if they are pregnant. Maybe the link between pregnancy/fertility has something to do with it, but really it just sort of baffles me, although it's not particularly disgusting compared to some of the stuff that people are into.

Since I have both, I'll try and explain them (and fail miserably, most likely).

Vore can be considered an extent of S&M. And informal poll found that lots of voraphiles were into S&M, and preds were often sadists, etc. For me, as a pred (one who fantasizes about eating people whole) vore is about a mix of domination and intimacy. I don't really like sex, so vore has sort of replaced it in my mind.

Alright, now for the pregnancy thing. If I had to guess, it would for the same reason large breasts are attractive, they are helpful for propagating the species. The bellies from pregnancy fetishism are often seen in vore, inflation, stuffing, etc.
