So basically, I'm a massive fidgeter. Even whilst typing this my leg's twitching cause my hands aren't sufficiently occupied. I'll play with anything that's lying around: for example, I found this paper fastener thing this morning and I've been just flipping it around in my hands for hours. It only occurred to me a few seconds ago that I don't know where it came from.

So, people of the Escapist, are your hands possessed by the need to interact with the world? Or can you just sit still contentedly?
You probably just have a lot of energy. It's been suggested before that my leg bounces so much or that I drum with my hands and fingers on any flat surface I can find because of sexual tension or nervousness. This is because people are simplistic and dumb. I just have a lot of energy.

I can sit still, but I am more comfortable when some part of me is moving so I usually just "chew" the inside of my mouth. I don't eat it, I just put pressure on it with my teeth. If I sit to long though, I get restless and my leg starts to bounce.

If I watch TV, I'm almost always shuffling cards or spinning a pen through my fingers.

Sounds like RLS, which in reality just means that you dont know how to sit still cause no one ever told you to and seriously made you.

dont worry, I'm the same way.

Mostly, I tap, or I'll be holding a pen and I'll twirl it in my fingers. Actually, I heard once that if you do it with a quarter, and roll it between your figners, over and under each finger, it sstupposed to help with something like coordination.

But then again, my uncle told me that, and he's usualy just talking out his ass about his own personal experiences.

In my case there may be some truth in that >.>

And I've still no idea where this fucking paper fastener came from -_-

Normally I'd associate mannerisms such as that with being nervous. But, yeah, oftentimes when I'm typing frantically I'll start tapping my foot incessantly.

When I bored I start clicking all my fingers, much to the annoyance of everyone around me. Either that or, if I've got something in my hand; phone, remote, pen drive etc I'll constantly flip again much to the annoyance of everyone around me.

I fidget an ungodly amount, I have never had issues with legs going numb and seizing up from playing games for 36hours straight I twitch my legs about so goddamn much.

I find myself fidgeting a lot. I tap my fingers on the mouse buttons or if I'm reading something I'll play with a pen or something else to hand.

Usually when sitting down my legs bounce up and down on the balls of my feet (I'm doing it as I type). Apparently for people sat next to/near me it's pretty annoying.

I get fidgety but not a lot. Whenever I'm idle I just get the urge to do something with my hands. It leads a lot of people to think that I'm unfocused and while that may be true, it's actually because I'm not doing anything and my hands have to be doing something
