Oh...I thought you said flight music. Like for when you go on an aeroplane. Well I suppose some nice Irish folk music would work.

Oh and for all its "intricacies", metal is still the 2+2=4 of the musical world compared to classic jazz (which is more like string theory physics if you wanna go with that metaphor)

But hey even low standards are standards. You win. Congratulations!!! Another score for bad arguments......
Ohhh what?

Dude, you are listening to the wrong metal.. If you want complex than metal is your genre. Considering the more interesting side of metal is full of jazz players I would say that they are not too far off.

As for some Metal drummers: Danny Carrey, Mike Portnoy and Gavin Harris, they can all bend time like its no ones business.

Also - Classic Jazz being like String Theory? Assuming you mean the Jazz pre 1940 (which is often refered as "Classic") then there isn't anything that complicated. However seeing as Shaughnessy was a bebop player I'm guessing you mean Bebop, but he also played big band stuff, which is the pop of the jazz world..

In conclusion - Learn yo'self!

Haha.. On Topic.

Anything in Phrygian mode or anything with an anticipated back beat.

'Fuckin in the Bushes' by Oasis is a surprisingly good fight song.

Anyone who has seen 'Snatch' will know what I mean.

I have a playlist I use for any fighting situation. It's a great big mix of Metallica, Iron Miaden, Trivium, 3 Doors Down, and Pantera.

Oddly enough, one of the most effective songs in there is Kryptonite.

We are all human (presumably) and it's a fact that every now and again we succumb to our utmost primal side. When Adrenaline kicks in at full capacity and you're about to go absolute Silver Back Gorilla on somebody's face what music would you like to play?

The Gwar song has a really good breakdown starting at about 1:40.

"Trying to express your rage
You must use your fists
Personality dissolves in a
In A RED AND RAGING MIST!!!"
You, sir, have just attained the status of my new personal hero.
As for me, I once started arguing with a friend whilst listening to my Metallica playlist. It is only ironic that we got to the fists about the time Battery kicked in.
I wish I could use a less vulgar, less vernacular based term, but...
OWNED!!

Hehehe I love it when people who don't know enough about what they are talking about stop talking about it once someone who does know what they are talking about starts talking about it.

Yup.
