To be fair its not hard to be better than FF13, in fact the last 3-4 years squares games have been mediocre at best and complete wrecks at worse. A new FF13 isn't what what square needs, Square needs to step back take a large look at there games, stop everything their doing and start a game from scratch. They should support eidos more to, because the only good games to come out lately, and the only ones that look interesting are from them.

Yeah, I don't actually have a lot a hope for this game considering that Square has already admitted they don't know what to do with the Final Fantasy franchise anymore.

Back in mature-individual Devil's Advocate World, they wouldn't be able to make like... twenty of these games if a lot of people didnt like them. So for those of you into JRPGs, enjoy this one (if it looks like any good... back to whom I quoted, X-2 was a bad idea).

If this is another X-2 I swear to god I will never buy another FF.
It shouldn't be hard to top, just give us an RPG that ACTUALLY HAS SIDEQUESTS (that aren't packed into the last 10% of the storyline like an afterthought)

Well.... I kind of hated XIII. So if they are improving on it, that should be good... right?
Please for the love of all that is holy, do not bring back Hope. Or most of the cast for that matter.

Yeah, because it's so hard to surpass a game that was effectively a 'rail-jrpg' (a rjrpg?) for 30 hours.

I liked FFXIII. When I saw the confirmation of the sequel, I knew I'd buy it regardless of how it came out but this trailer just looks bizarre; that armour looks absolutely ridiculous.
Ah well, I'm still getting it but colour me apprehensive.
