Looks like they've gone back to fixed battle positions...was the movement in battle they had in FFXII not well received by fans?
I heard most people didn't like it, I guess they are lazy as hell, I loved it.

It looks very very pretty, my biggest beef is how their outfits look out of place no matter where they are D:

Beautiful graphics like those show here are the reason why we keep Square around. Though I must say I'm looking forward to 13 Versus because I hear the combat system is similar to Kingdom hearts'. I love the immobile turn based combat that made FF what it is, but the KH combat system is a great step away from their norm.

Anyone else expect afro guy to come out with "I can break these cuffs!" when he started yelling?

Don't care much for the whole interactive space-opera, but it sure looks purdy.

Well that looked cheesy; Gorgeous and cheesy. But it´s Final Fantasy, so I´m not surprised. Still, I may have to try this some day.

The actions scenes were cool, but was the dramatic music needed between 2:12-2:26? I mean, all they were doing was running.
True. Yakety Sax would have worked better. Much better, I think.

Man did anyone notice how bland the locations where during gameplay footage? Apart from looking sharper, it was no different from Phantasy Star Online nearly 10 years previous!

Holy uncanny valley batman!
Gorgous grpahics but those mouth animations are terriable, I shouldn't be seeing thier tounges mechanicly flipping up and down inside their mouths, thats just disturbing.

Wait, wait. I know the worlds most basic Japanese, but-- did she just call him "Brother" then proceed to eat his face off?
I think she was referring to her sister, Lightning.

Fifth, the one black guy with the Funny Afro [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FunnyAfro] drives a freakin' Transformer.
I refuse to take offense to the fact that the black guy gets the ridiculously pimped out car on the grounds that it is AWESOME AS ALL GET-OUT.

If I recall correctly, we won't be getting the Japanese dialogue option when it imports to the US, is that right?

Bear in mind that this is the opinion of someone who really has not cared about or really played much of the Final Fantasy series, but I personally did not like how much visual clutter there was during the battles; with all the numbers coming off everyone and the bars all over the screen. Just given how beautiful this game seems to be, it seems like a bit of a waste to cover it up. But also, still bearing in mind that I'm not at all a Final Fantasy fan, this video has got me more than a little bit excited about this game.

...I couldn't understand a thing of what I just saw but I can't keep myself calm anymore. I feel like a kid wanting to take a ride on the rollcoster for the first time.
That was fantastically gorgeous!!!

I saw explosions, rideable summons (or at least, that's what it looked like) and drama scenes with people screaming (plot twists?). I have nothing else to add.

Dear god, man! You can´t use both of them in a same scene. That´s schizophrenic.
By the way, that dramatic opera music, what piece is that? Sounds pretty great.
It's called Stoning. It isn't actually really opera music though, I just call it that because it sounds like it.

The piece was actually written for an anime by the name of The Big O. Pretty much any music from The Big O is badass though.
