I want to know this too. I don't mind the English VA's but if I had my choice I'd take the original ones. I don't care about multiple discs.
I'm pretty much in the same boat. Whilst none of the English VAs for Final Fantasy games have been an issue for me in the past I would honestly rather play the game with Japanese voices. It's an issue I'd even consider importing over, despite the fact that my Japanese is nowhere near good enough to get me through a Final Fantasy game.

Squaresoft once again proving themselves incapable of sticking to format limits.
ok then if they stuck to the size limits of a dvd, the 360 version would be a LOT shorter than the PS3 version

i somehow knew this would happen, tho i think the 360 version will have more compression and such, i remember reading there is at least 2 gigs of data that m$ requires on each 360 dvd

Do you happen to know if Star Ocean is any good? It's the only other jRPG I still gotta look in to.
It's terrible. Possibly the worst RPG on the 360 bar Two Worlds. I fully regret buying it.
Thanks for the tip.

I had read something like that before, but then again, they also ripped on Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon. Two RPG's which I did manage to enjoy (well, I disliked the artwork/dialogues/voice-overs from Blue Dragon, but everything else was pretty enjoyable...)

Pity though, Star Ocean: TtEoT wasn't half bad.

I was going to say that. Also, on the PS1, most of the RPGs were on 2-4 disks, especially the Final Fantasy games.
Yeah, but CDs are about 1/6th the size of a DVD.
Yeah, and we're like 10 years in the future.
