Final Fantasy XIII Xbox360 Or PS3?

I only own a PS3 for the time being, but even if I had a 360 I'd still get it for the PS3 just because it was originally designed for it, just like I would have wanted to get the 360 version of Bayonetta (but couldn't... yet) and how I got Dragon Age for the PC.

And not having to through disk swapping is good too (just go with the better deal and/or what's convenient),

...as for the graphics who can tell? I have yet to see any such post demonstrating the superiority of one version over the other

does this work for you? yes it supports 720 and lower but it does go to 1080

though from what my research has shown is that it's possibly 720 for gameplay and 1080 for cutscenes though that's not confirmed as far as i know

The game isn't natibe 1080p, it's an upscaled 720p. They did the same thing with MGS4 to up the graphics. And it's most likely just the cutscences that are native 1080p anyways.

I couldn't find any definitive proof and most articles concerning are usually a year old, even recent ones aren't conclusive

All links confirm that the CUTSCENES will be in 1080p not the gameplay. The gameplay will run in 720p. Showing Japanese box art with 1080p doesn't prove anything. It's like how FFXII's graphics were much better in the FMV cutscenes than the Gamplay graphics themselves.

well, we can all tell with a little research. FF13 on 360 is running at 576P, not 720 like on the PS3, further more, a bunch of very lucky people got to play the 2 side by side and it was a unanimous view that the PS3 version was sharper and had more detail.

Neither I do not wish to Play Final Fantasy any longer.

As for differences.

There is not much of a difference, The one set of pictures were shown by later videos to be crap quality, the claims of a less then 720p resolution were all so debunked one because pixel counters used the bad quality pictures for this purpose and I do believe a site debunked it but I can't remember what site.

But yeah neither for me I'll get it when it hits greatest hits or deep bargain as a used store.
