It was a great time, and most of the bands were awesome (save Dragonforce)

Edit: Actually, it might have been a free Blue Oysters Cult show in a big park was my first show, but that was like, lots of Old People on blankets and lawn chairs.

AC/DC, the Australian tour a few months ago. Was an amazing experience.

My first concert was Nine Inch Nails. It had Street Sweeper Social Club too (Tom Morello group) as well. It was sweet.

It was either Sheryl Crow or The Beach Boys. I hated both because they were too loud, I could smell the people sitting near me, & the music did not sound exactly like it did on casette tape. I never went to another concert again.

Slayer w/ Testament and Sepultura (before they sucked) opening. Though Sepultura couldn't play because of visa issues... It definitely leaves one with expectations of all future concerts, that's for sure. It was one hell of a show.

First bent I went to was the Cooper Temple Clause. It remains, to this day, a performance by which I judge all other live bands. Simply phenomenal.

A friend of mine is obsessed with that disease, Necrotisingfasciitis. Weird.

LOL it's an awesome disease!?! I'm fascinated with all sorts of horrid things that can go wrong with the human body, and that's just one of the many fun diseases one can acquire. I read a case recently of a guy who got in his head/neck. Suffice it to say things didn't go well for him.

I just bought Greenday tickets so my first concert will be in August. I find it funny Greenday was the fist band I liked back in elementary school and it will also be my first concert.

Funny, that's how it was for me. I saw my first concert in September 2005... it was Green Day at the Pepsi Center with Jimmy Eat World opening. Unfortunately, Jimmy kind of got chanted off the stage... nearly the entire audience was chanting for Green Day.

The show was awesome, because they played a mishmash of stuff from older albums as well as the entirety of American Idiot. I remember watching "King For A Day" and cheering my lungs out.
