Nintendo 64 with Mario 64 and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Ahhh, the good old days where games were colorfull and creative.
First CONSOLE was the PS1, but I had been using my PC for a couple of years before that. First game? Civilization. Saw my mother playing it at 4 and had a go. Amazingly, I didn't suck too badly on the lower difficulties and actually understood what was going on.
My first console was a PS1, first game was Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. Loved it like hell. I miss that game so much. This was at christmas when I was 3.
Nintendo entertainment system was my first console and I think the first game I played on it was Dragon warrior. It was pretty awesome for the time and I recall talking with my friends in elementary school about it all the time, espeially about our adventures and accomplishments and close calls
My first handheld was an aqua Game Boy Color with Pokemon Red. I've got no doubt the most hours played in Pokemon Red in comparison to anything else I've owned. By a longshot.
My first console, however, was the PS2 with Shadow of the Colossus. Perhaps that's the reason why I usually don't expect much of a game before I start playing it. SotC was so epic that a vast majority of the games I got afterward just seemed bland.
