Awesome! Best first game ever.Ruzzian Roulette said:The original DOOM when I was about 5.
I actually remember a game similar to this that I played in school, but with fish. It was sort of a puzzle game, you start with your fish on the left side, a random fish or other creature on the right, and you had to pick to swim high, low, or center. If you swam directly toward the other thing (it could sometimes be a seal or osprey or some algae, as well as other fish) you would either eat it if it is small enough, or be eaten if it was big enough, or swim right by. You would get points based on your decision, IE, if you eat it but it is not part of your main fish diet, you would gain only a few points, if you get eaten you probably got no points, and other such points schemes. It was actually pretty interesting and I wish I could remember it, I'd love to look it up and play again. OH NO SEAL RUN!Fightgarr said:I can think of one game that I played earlier than that, but the name eludes me. It involved navigating an animal of your choice through habitats in which you had to eat everything lower on the food chain than you and avoid everything else. I think it was called Animal Quest or something, but I can't be sure, I was 3.
That is exactly the game I'm think of. There were also levels for a temperate forest and an African savannah.coldfrog said:I actually remember a game similar to this that I played in school, but with fish. I had that for the PC - what a game. Didn't care too much for the grans though...
The first game I played was called Velocity I think. Flying game, you bomb things and fly around as a purple polygon.
