Could be a publicity stunt, I mean doesnt mw2.5 setting have a terrible crime being comitted in.Paris?
better a staged heist, than killing little girl or mowing down people in an airport.

which, honestly, i think activision would do that.....im on to you activision......

And yet, there has been nothing of the kind for Skyrim.
I think this might be telling for both games' communities.

Geez, how expensive are videogames in France!? Even at ?60 per game (the max in Ireland) that doesn't add up....

Here in France it's 70 euros :/ More expensive and with crappy dubbings (seriously, french dubbing is always horrible), yay us.
Oh man I just imagined all my favourite games if all the voices where French, its hilarious, so many silly accents!
No offence :3

Pfft, drugs are so last century, now gangsters make money with video games.
The next time when you're in a shady street and someone says that he has some good stuff, he won't be a drug dealer but a games dealer.

Should be easy to find them, just look for all the copies of MW that smell of garlic.

OUI!

I honestly don't care. If it had happened to a game that wasn't going to sell that well, I would have felt sorry for them.

On an unrelated not, I won't play MW3. I'll be too busy with Skyrim and Assassins Creed this month.

I must say I wasn't expecting the French to be the first ones to execute piratism with some balls.
Hey look industry, THATS real Software Piracy! Now how about "Anti Piracy" Measures like shipping out your goods in APCs? Might add some anti-personal devices to the crates itself or hire some armed friends to help you fight of those evil evil pirates...
You could give those paying customers some slack and remove your DRM trojans in order to pay for those toys.

Or just don't fcking ramp up your marketing to levels where the idiots among your fanbase ( I acknowledge that there might be one or two sane people in there...somewhere) go total apeshit in order to get your game.

In all seriousnes - I can understand why criminals would steal videogames. They are highly valuable, don't weight a lot and you can spread them out among your gang without risking suspicon. Easier then pushing drugs one might say.

No, that's not even enough to express my disgust over this.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I fail to see the point of this, I mean, the game is just gonna be out like, tomorrow, best they could hope to do is sell most of the copies for 60 bucks and considering your buying a copy of the game from a guy in a back ally, that probably means your not gonna be willing to pay him a full 60.

If the publisher was smart, they should have collected the serial numbers of each game in each shipped batch. Then when that serial gets used they just pop whoever has it.

I know this is my second time posting in this forum, but Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 comes out in a week, and I'm going to patiently wait for it instead of stealing it. I'm excited for this game as much as these guys are, but I'm a good little boy*, thank you very much!

*Don't get any ideas, Pedobear, I'm probably too old to excite you

Value of the discs: 3/4 million
Cost of the discs: 6,000 dlls

I wonder if the buyers are stupid enough to log online before release day.
