If it fits the movie and its in context, full nudity is perfectly fine, but if used as a selling point for crappy movie, then it has no place in there.
I agree with this. I hate it when shitty movies use nudity as a major selling point.
Hey not all pornos are bad... oh wait nevermind.

Basically, does it have Demi Moore in it...

:D

Bottom line, sex sells, but the trick is to draw in the men without scaring away the (straight) women and vica versa. I mean take 300, how many girlfriends would tolerate going to see with their boyfriend a film that what was basically just a "Grr, man film" because of all the man-abs on display?

I have no problem with breasts, vagina's and penis' being exposed. As long as what I am watching entertains me.

I actually think full frontal nudity should be manditory in movies. Face it, we spend the entire length of the movie wondering what the incredibly attractive people on screen look like naked-- I say just show us. Maybe during the credits or something if you can't work it into the plot.

OK, I'm 16, male, and overall, American. I have to say that full frontal nudity is a perfectly acceptable art form; a whole lot of famous paintings are nudes and they aren't considered porn by any stretch of the imagination. You might not take your six year old to see such a painting or sculpture, but how many six year olds want to go to an art museum anyway? (I was an exception because of the Oriental stuff; the Far East has been my passion since before I could play video games.) By the same token, movies are an accepted form of art and as such, will eventually contain nudity of every kind. Games too. We came into this world naked, it's not an issue for me.

To all the idiots saying that "I want to see nudity, but only girls/guys," you need to come to terms with whatever sexuality you are and GET OVER IT! The only people uncomfortable seeing something attached to their own bodies are immature kvetches. I have no problem seeing a penis, as long as it's artistically important. Same with titties and vaginas. They are physical, sexual organs. Just as it is natural to be aroused at the sight of such (in my case, MMMMMM TITTIES!! I am a teenager after all.), it is natural to display them in art, because art imitates life and they are part of life. It just has to be tasteful, imho.

Beowulf (one of the worst movies of the last three years) only showed "well, it's kind of nudity"...on Angelina Jolie. That scene (AJ is the evil demon thingy that seduces the old king and Beowulf. She appears wearing only gold body paint, and I'm fairly sure that it was CG. It was a necessary to help advance the plot and to show that the demon could seduce a man.) nearly cost them the PG rating. A tale of Beowulf's intensity and scale should have a) taken 4 and a half hours to portray accurately and b) should have been an R rating easily. But the ESRB gave it a PG rating despite a scene that a whole lot of parents screamed bloody murder about. I think we've pretty much accepted nudity in films. Now to get to work on games...

PS If I'm wrong about the rating on Beowulf, tell me. It wasn't a good enough movie to warrant my attention and remembrance beyond that one scene, 'cause, ya know, I am a male teenager.

In the 80s, there was full frontal nudity in just about every movie, and no one gave a crap. There was no big media furphy or godbothers raging that it was "destroying civilisation". How the hell have we managed to go backwards in thinking in only 20 years?
