I sort of liked the idea of Shadowrun, except the magic. That's just a load of spurious, wanky nonsense in a SF setting that could have been more elegantly replicated by sufficiently advanced technology.

Although to be fair, I think the guy is suggesting we cosmetically and genetically convert ourselves in to demi-humans, rather than suddenly turn into fantasy archetypes by magic. Whatever, he seems to be implying that what would "save" us from this are, er... neo-Nazis.

Also the actual Biden documents story? Yeah, turns out by "Biden" they mean the Washington DC law offices of a pro-Biden think tank from 2008, by "stole" then mean found in a locked closet and returned to the presidential records department, and by "classified documents" they mean not actually stated to be classified, they just decided to use that phrase.
I guess someone, probably Tucker Carlson, decided most people are too stupid to know not all documents in the National Archives are classified.

It's a well-made meat and two veg action film that will warm the cockles of many a patriotic, individualist, pro-military conservative. But there's nothing about it that is a rejection of woke either. The idea it's "anti-woke" is more the desperation of the anti-woke to claim some sort of cultural victory.

Ironic, both movies are "woke". Alita literally has a non-white Latina in the lead role. The only reason they consider it "anti-woke", was because they hate the MCU or actress that played Marvel, and see Alita as nothing more than mere steppingstone. I noticed a lot of those "fans" of Alita only liked the film, because most were younger guys thinking they have a chacne with her.

News flash, Sonic had nothing to do with BoP's average box office. COVID saw to that. The DVD/Blu-Ray were super high though and made up for it.
