There was a TikTok video about atheism, which was basically. What about rich atheists that don't question captalism because they happen to make money? I stopped being an atheist a long time ago, but my guess is that there is likely one entity that controls everything in this universe, just like some people at home happen to have their own servers, and that makes more sense than a committee controlling something; however, I have not ruled that out as being possible for other universes. So yes, it's something like the simulation hypothesis, and I just fleshed it out a little bit.
That being said, one...

So what if they don't question captalism? Maybe they have different base benefits than you on how society ought to be run. And I am guessing for many it's economic growth, so come up with an economic system that creates sustained economic growth without a dictatorship.
That said, Tik Tok being banned would ruin many people's livelihoods, but while I think it benefits US primacy to have been banned, and even better if it were brought by Oracle or Microsoft, I think I would do the same thing as a public policymaker if I were one, vs. being a regular citizen.
