I don't know about you guys/gals, but i'm getting tired of so many sequels, why don't they try their originality once in a while ??!!

what like (the still fairly recent) Left 4 Dead?

Oh no ! Zombie got too much mainstreamed: CoD WaW,BlackOps,RedDeadRedemption, i think there's even some in Yakuza n°"something" zombie stuff, Left 4 Dead 1&2, Dead Rising series, Dead Space series, etc.

i mean a real new game, based on whatever graphic engine, but just something refreshing, not those Team Fortress clones...i can't recall the name.

Ok, so I wasn't going to post again because this is something I feel pretty strongly about and I don't want to accidentally flame/troll because I got carried away, but L4D is one of the most original titles released by any house in the past few years - it redefined co-op mechanics, and creates better atmosphere than any other survival horror game I've ever played - this from a company famed for solo-action titles? If that's not them branching out, I don't know what is. Just because everybody's doing zombie stuff doesn't mean everything with zombies is a clone of one thing or another

Of course Kotick doesn't have a soul. None of use do, because they aren't a real thing. It's just some concept someone came up with. People also use it as a word that means being a decent person, but in that case it still isn't something you "have".

And I'm surprised they asked about CounterStrike 2 over Half Life 2 Episode 3.

Yeah, I have to agree. I don't see why there should be a problem with people wanting to know where the third part of an episodic series is, especially when part 1 came out in 2006 and part 2 came out in 2007, and now part 3 seems to be in limbo. People would be asking about it if it was any game, really.

Portal's a good example, they should do more games like these, not necesarily, Portal 2 Portal 3 Portal 4 Portal 5... i mean they have all the money they want, the PR, the distribution etc.

Nobody gives a crap about Counter Strike 2. And if they do, they are insane, because theres now MW, MW2, Black Ops, Medal of Honor, Bad Company 2, the upcoming Battlefield 3 and Homefront. Counter-Strike 2 doesnt stand a chance.

I'd think Valve isn't really making a dollar off of Counter Strike anymore since practically anyone with a Steam account already has the game and has had it for 7+ years. Not that I'm saying that Valve *really* ought to do it, but a new iteration of Counter Strike using an even more souped-up version of Source would make sense, if only because of brand knowledge with consumers (Pretty much why EA went with "Medal of Honour" for their modern day shooter).
