I just want some sort of source engine that would support Unreal textures.

I wish people would stop holding their breath for Episode 3, it just means a lot of CPR needs doing. Valve will release information on it when they are ready, if you forget about it for a while then it will come as a welcome surprise rather that an "oh finally".Ranooth said:Sacrificing yet another goat in hope of some Episode 3 news!
My sentiments exactly and regarding Left 4 Dead I know it's an ancient topic but I feel this needs to be said: you can complain about how the game had insufficient content and how the sequel should have been DLC all you like but if a game cannot stand up without DLC then DLC will not do enough to repair the damage. For me, even the weekly modes in L4D2 weren't enough to keep me interested. If ValVe makes L4D3 then it needs to add MUCH more content and make considerable innovations to succeed. Of course they could take the easy way out and copy what Halo did (though I don't know how they'd go about that) but if this is the ValVe I know and love then they would rather shoot themselves.Lagao said:Source 2.

And then we all become astronauts and get dog shooting guns.SalamanderJoe said:Prepare yourself for a hot dollop of SalamanderJoe theory!!
1: A new Counter-Strike for all platforms, including a deep single player campaign
2: A major expansion or sequel to Team Fortress 2, for all platforms
3: And Obviously, Half-Life 3, including Half-Life 2 Episode 3 on a 2nd disc as a prologue chapter
Bonus: No Left 4 Dead 3 until 2012 though, but expansions for the other two will still come
Of course this is all theory mixed in with a nice slab of personal desire, but seeing Valve listen to their fans, any new entry in the Valve catalogue of awesome games is a possibility.
